If no, why not?
  • Not enough races per event to make it worthwhile
  • Races are too short to be worthwhile
  • AI just isn’t worth it
  • Can’t use the car you desire without playing the same four tracks over and over

Personally I’ve never replayed any of them because the races are too short and there arent enough per event. Also the fact that its the same tracks each time is just not worth it to me. Custom championships are definitely needed because i only want to play MP 60% of the time.

“reasons 1 and 2 and 4” there are no numbers, we can’t know what you mean.

I have a few times- mostly the open class events, It’s pretty much always for the same reason- to see how ridiculous of a car I can use to win the event (if it’s S class, using an overpowered Oldsmobile Cutlass or a Lexus sedan- just something that looks like it doesn’t belong on the grid).

I miss the days when you could get in way over your head. In FM4 you could enter an A class event with a C class car, and although you’d get a “are you sure?” pop up, it would let you have at it. That was really challenging, and made for some really funny replays.

The only part of career mode events I replay (quite a lot) are intro clips

Other than that, I prefer to set up races or practice sessions in Free Play. Cash and XP rewards are the same anyway (I think).

I replayed one by accident, the very first one!

Not interested to be honest (I haven’t even finished all of them), but I’d try new ones if they add them, hopefully they get creative.

Until AI gets to the level of skill and dynamism that it is indistinguishable from a human driving, I have no interest in single player career outside of the bare minimum to unlock Achievements.

I automated it in Forza Motorsport, the Builders’ Cup had that little appeal.

For me, nothing beats the intensity and mental rivalry of a human opponent.

I’ve replayed some just because of a car I wanted and going through the career cup series was an easy way to build level.

I might go through one or two again to see if the new tracks get cycled into the cup races.

I’ve replayed some Open Class Championships because I wanted to level up my cars after Ieft them to drive themselves to around Level 25. It is what it is, the AI is terrible and half the time I got second but at least it’s laughably easy to win the championships.

Also back when the game launched and I was about to complete the Enthusiast Tour. The game made itself reset progress and I had to reply the entire JDM Legends or whatever championship it was 4 times. At least I picked a different car each time. My friend had the exact same issue and got the achievement for completing all 4 base Tours this way LMAO.

To me, id love to play full sim damage with variable weather and rolling time, but with only 4 races, if you have a horrible result then youre pretty much screwed pointswise.

With those settings the game really needs an option for longer races. So that pit stops would come into play.

Yeah it erks me because fm7 you could pick between short medium and long for all career races.

occasionally I’ll do 30-40 min races with like 3-5 rolloff delay to make it so it takes me a long time to pass everyone if i even can. It’s quite fun but would be even better as a championship, you know, like every racing event in real life on earth in the history of human kind with an engine.

I’ve done funny races against AI level 8, with full damages and no rewind. It’s hard to win for me starting from 12th place, but sometimes I did it.

That is a good alternative to the multiplayer, when I have few time to play or just don’t want to pay all the application required when racing with other humans.

I haven’t felt so far the need to repeat some races, because there are always new championships added to play. Of course, there are people playing more than me in career who may want more events.

I replay old things after 1 or 2 years, not after a half year.

I mean i also don’t watch a movie, only to watch it again right after i watched it for the first time. I always let some time pass, before i play or watch something again.

Career is useless.Utterly totally useless.
No fun races, no fun classes, no proper race classes, crap race length etc.etc.

they ough to fix this ASAP.
And get rid of the idiotic SuperDuper Cadillac and Corvette SuperUSGT Dodge bull-menure R890 + DLC cars in GT3 so you can have a proper GT3 Championship.

First filter out all the stuff not belonging in the classes, then create proper championships with proper races, race lengths and tracks.

It is a crying shame and for me completely incomprehensible why they just did not put ANY effort in SP campaign/career at all.

Yes I will rerun them multiple times with many different cars to see which car I can do best with in that particular race session.Loads of fun for me…

I used to be the same as this. Now MP is just as stale and soulless and as SP, so I now prefer SP. It’s a challenge albeit a different one and as Ai will improve exponentially (even in the forzaverse…. Eventually) it will give you the challenge of MP, without the griefers, try harders, hackers, exploiters and meta abusers.

Cant wait.

The game just has not enough atmosphere that it will worth to play it again.
Its just a game with cars you drive on some tracks. There is nothing special. Its just… simply a game!

Yes, played some events just see how a car handles with newer tunes. The way the career mode is currently setup just feels like a group of special events, a career mode starts somewhere and moves you towards a end goal or a end of season, usually moving to faster cars longer events. The game is missing single race events, events with longer laps (endurance).
