Has anyone noticed aero choices dwindling

I’ve just been looking on Forza motorsport and let’s just say a lot of the cars have lost loads of visual aero choices and will this carry over to the next horizon?
From what I’ve noticed throughout the Forza franchise is if it drops in motorsport it drops in horizon and as the horizon series goes on less and less of a choice when it comes to visual upgrades. For example BMW E92 M3 GTS has lost not only the ability to change rim diameter but has lost all visual aero upgrades and now certain cars in fm (too many to list) have lost a lot of choice. I’m hoping this is not a thing to come for the future horizon otherwise I won’t be the only one that will abandon this franchise, as we’re already asking for more choice not removing it. Disgraceful, they really need to pull there metaphorical finger out there chocolate sheriff badge and actually listen

You aren’t wrong here.

Most cars live or die for me based on what visual upgrades they have. I’ve kept track of the number of visual mods for nearly every car between FH3, FH4, and FH5. Granted FH5 has gotten some new widebody kits but for hoods, bumpers, skirts and spoilers, there’s a fair number of old sets missing.

Since those parts are licensed they probably ran into issues but it’s still a real shame. I’d gladly take completely fictional body upgrades over nothing or the ugly Forza Aero.

In case of the M3 GTS it’s presumably for balancing reasons. This car is already good as it is. Adding even more downforce via upgrades could be too much.

That said nobody hinders them to add upgrades that just have visual effects except for limitations imposed by the manufacturers maybe.

The New i4 I think has a strip spoiler that unlocks aero tuning… yay - I don’t have to put the park bench on it to unlock aero.

E-Ray is the same way, has more adjustable aero options than just the park bench.

I’d be happy if they simply gave us the spoiler option as well as the park bench for all cars since they treat them the same in-so-far as what they do even though they technically work in different ways.
I really don’t like the park bench on hatchbacks either TBH. Also doesn’t help that adding the wing most time is a meta tune move to tank the PI rating back down to fit more POWAHHHHHH upgrades. :face_with_monocle:
