I used Chronic’s v2 tune.

I went back Chronic V2 tune, took a while, but got down to 1:50.642, might try again, but I believe that is it for me today.

My Final time is with Chronics tune in the Lotus :lotus: 1:51.220 that was a huge task for me. Now I must take a cold shower

Done… done done done… man… once again, I figure out the section that was nagging me only to screw up the sections I had been pretty consistent on before… ugghhhhh

OK… I’m done… final time of 1.51.639 thanks to @JSR_Chronic 's tune in the Lotus. Stuck in the .6s…

I did try @Jezza14 s Lotus and did like it allot :+1:, but I was too used to Chronics to figure it out today.
I was gonna try the Nissan today too, only to find out I had the wrong Z leveled up!! SOAB!

OK… well, for the next event, I am gonna try the Vipers (sorry, I just love the Vipers - always have) and maybe one of of Huracans… not sure which the? The ‘PERFORMANTE’? Of course that’s not the one I have leveled… I wanna run the Saleen too, but I think it might not have nearly the top end. Maybe a Ferrari and a McLaren too… doubt I will have the time to level everything though.

I just can’t way for the patch to arrive to stop this leveling madness.

And now, I need a beer so I can now play my bi-monthly game of whack-a-tune so I can start tuning and saving them for this weeks fun. ugghhhh save limit is so stupid

:crossed_fingers: Fingers crossed this week is Nordschleife…

cheers!

The week at Catalunya turned into a battle between two of the cars in the division, with the Nissan 370Z edging out the Lotus Evora. Neither could compete with the Exocets, and Formula Mazdas at the top of the leaderboard, but Bubba and Jonathon did push the Nissan to its limits to finish best of the rest in the mid 20s. It was good to see Swerve C10 join us again, along with new drivers HLR Rocko, HLR VIOLATION, and QuixoticApex. Thanks to everyone that ran for helping create another successful event.

Here is a screenshot of the final leaderboard:

Once again we are offering exclusive liveries to the top 3 drivers in each Tier, and to the Tuner whose shared setup finished in the highest place when driven by someone else. Winning drivers in Tiers 2 and 3 will be promoted to the Tier above for the next event.

HLR Bubba produced a great lap early in the week, which looked likely to hold up, until RP Jonathon edged into the lead by less than a tenth. However, Bubba refused to lie down, and relaimed 1st place with only hours to go. Only 3 drivers broke into the 01:49s with GReddy295 being the 3rd to claim the final podium position. Outstanding driving by all 3.
Tier 1 Prize winners
1st Place: HLR Bubba
2nd Place: RP Jonathon
3rd Place: GReddy295
Tuner Prize: RP Chronic for the Nissan 370Z setup run by both HLR Bubba, and RP Jonathon.

Our Tier 3 winner from last week showed his true class to claim back to back wins, and finish in 6th overall. Jezza14, and Captain Doony could barely be separated in 11th and 12th places respectively, with Jezza choosing to run the handling focussed Lotus Evora.

Tier 2 Prize winners
1st Place: VelosterOne in a 2019 Nissan 370Z Nismo
2nd Place: Jezza14 in a 2011 Lotus Evora
3rd Place: Captain Doony in a 2019 Nissan 370Z Nismo

The turnout in Tier 3 continues to cause concern, with only 10 of the 28 listed drivers taking to the track. This does mean of course that the competing drivers stand a much higher chance of success LOL. The drivers seizing the opportunity this week all chose to drive different cars, which is great to see. Congratulations to our podium drivers AJAX LDS, o Swat King, and AdmPatate.

Tier 3 Prize winners
1st Place: AJAX LDS in a 2019 Nissan 370Z Nismo
2nd Place: o Swat King in a 2020 Toyota GR Supra
3rd Place: AdmPatate in a 2017 Alpine A110

Congratulations to all our prize winners. Each livery will carry a different race number, and will be personalised with the driver’s gamertag. I’m back on the chocolate bar theme again this week after a few days work on a new TWIX logo LOL.
The 2019 Nissan 370Z Nismo

The The 2011 Lotus Evora

The 2020 Toyota GR Supra

The 2017 Alpine A110

To collect your livery drop me a message when you see me online, and I will share it long enough for you to download. I won’t be upset if you decide you don’t want it.
Please try to collect them within a week. With 10 new liveries created every week, I can’t afford to hang onto them for too long before I run out of storage space. Uncollected liveries will be deleted when I hit my maximum livery limit.

17 Ford GT I think is omitted from the list (probably as it was a reward car).

Thanks for the results and love the liveries. Will aim to pick up next time I’m on. Looking forward to this week as well!

Turn 10 have created a problem for us. There is no way within the game of listing all cars in any division.

Cars that appear in the featured list each week are not included in the showroom to buy, and unless you bought them at the time you are out of luck.

Cars missing have been added.

Thanks for bringing this up to our attention.

Hello, would like to join *starting this week. My name is Mike. I race on G923 in cockpit usually with steering wheel showing (while streaming because I think it makes for more interesting stream). I race on XBSX and PC. I also run / am part of the not fooling around crew discord server where we organize weekly races.

My gamertag is “the NFAC”
I am EST and mostly fluent in English. I make up fake names for the turns at Nordscheife - Germany has banned me from entering the country.

I have a 05 GT40 tune shared. I somehow managed a top-50 time doing a backward entry on one of the turns.

I didn’t think they’d introduced the Formula D update

Im 5 places behind you in SRT Viper 13 using Chronics tune. It runs well around here and indeed theres a guy who’s top 25 thats used the tune. A lot more time i can ring out of it.

Id like to stick to a Viper this week, and i see thats the 16 Viper is top 5.

I think this week could produce quite a diverse running which will be good

Well the brakes are awesome and it has loads of grip.

There’s one part of the track where the car goes really light and you feel like it’s going to flip.

I don’t know if you could bleed off a little bit of aero to get more top speed?

I’ll try the 08 Viper too once I’ve got that levelled up.

It’s nice to stick with the stock motor if possible

Son of a…I thought they were just discounting available cars lol

EDIT: I also figured out last season that the Open Class Tour has a rotating car as well.

I’m really looking forward to this one and all of the stress it will give me!
Last night I did a private multiplayer meetup with a mate (who should be joining soon) to level up cars for this, just non stop lapping Nring Full (we guessed correctly!). With mistakes made at pretty much every corner by now (finding the limit is the excuse I’ll use), I hope I’ll be able to get a clean lap in sooner than later.

With my first car almost ready, I hope to put in some laps today. I went for the odd choice of the Gallardo, swapped to RWD, because I just like it. I’ll see what it can do.
The Vantage GT12 was my second choice and it’s good to see it high up on the leaderboards already.

Well ive got a naughty time on the board so far. But if anyone else wants to give my tune a shot its very capable of 8:20s. 2005 Ford GT. Ive managed to make it all the way around. Slipped up and didnt brake enough in second to last right hander before the long straight. Mildly frustrating. Lol

Ok, I must admit, I only dirtied my first lap on The Ring about 15 times… this week will bring back horrible memories in this track back in FM5 - FM6 - and - FM7.

Love all the cars, and the class, just not the track. Well, in reality, I do love the track, I just can’t get good runs in it. Crossing my fingers for a miracle to happen this week.

I still need to figure out the car with the best “H” & “B” stats, with maybe some good “A”.

** UPDATE - I can only run 1 lap at a time, too long of a track for me and I lose focus. Improved to only ~10 dirty times (but, slightly worse laptime by +2 tenths)! [In the 2008 Dodge Viper]
