lol such a good point, shout out to all the chassis that have snapped.

(that’s your prize for not even crashing)

Tweaked the V2 tune of the Sport Quattro, sector times would bring me into the 1:37.xx range, didn’t get the lap in I wanted but did improve my time.
Wil give it another go tonight, then see if I can level another car.
Would like to build most of these at some point, but really don’t see that happening in the near future.

This weekend on duty to finish reforms on an apartment, people waiting to rent it out and move in, so not sure if I can run another car before the deadline.

Fun building the Audi though.

I did a thing! Lol i turned off the braking line and have switched to MC. Took a little getting used to not using that as a marker. The MC is still giving me some issues since i was so used to the old way even though it’s the same…ish…but i gave up on building my own tune and jumped into chronics 2000 cobra. With frustration and many…many skip laps. I have set a new time.

Ive given myself a chance to show on the hardcore section. Sort of excited for the extra challenge. It might not be permanent but its something im thinking about continuing. Every track is gonna be a new challenge and new leaderboard for myself.

I’m not sure how the MC works? I used it in FM6 no probs. I find at the moment if i switch MC on, and carry on just like playing as if in Manual, there is no difference in shifting, am I doing something wrong, i have remapped the clutch to A, which seems to have a blip when pressed at the same time as shifting :thinking:

If any car in the game has a race transmission use MC and when shifting just use shift up and down buttons you don’t need to hit the clutch at all

Thanks for this, just thought it was odd that Manuel with clutch you don’t use the clutch although it makes sense with a ace transmission.

I didn’t even know that, used MC since FM3 but since playing F1 for a few years I moved to manual. I have always said this should be a feature. Guess I will knock it back on.

I always used to flat shift with wheel/paddles but can’t now as it’s slower and damages car in career races. I miss it as it gave the cars a nice boost.

Will try it with race g/box.

@HLR_PRKid and @OcR_TRUEbk I was finally able to follow you guys in-game. Both of you showed up as a popular tune for whatever I was driving. I was like FINALLY yesss lol.

I couldn’t improve my time I don’t think I can get any faster with my tune. I’ve shared my v3 setup, which performs just as good as v1 and v2. It’s more user-friendly, making it a good choice for a lobby tune.

Does anybody have any advice to offer about the skid steer on the Cobra? More often than not the thing skids butt first out of control. It is disheartening to have ghost catch you and lose. Hovering on rage quitting bc dark side is rising! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Have no constructive help here, sorry.

I have a feeling that Maple Valley was built on an old sacred site. The vengeful spirits of the elders possesses us and fills us with rage. Each corner has a different spirit trying to distract us until finally … at the last turn, their malevolent God punishes us for our transgressions.

I have noticed on the turns that causes you to spin if you have the wheel straight the car does not slide so for a brief second straighten your steering. And having the car at the correct angle when going over the bumps

Hey I thought I was the old guy - Coop you and I are the same age. I have decided to start counting backwards on my birthday :}. I am guessing there might be a couple more old farts on this HLC list.

Thanks FFR . I’ll try that approach. It is after passing thru the Amphitheater turns and heading back uphill it happens. Specifically the Elevators

Managed a 1:36.699 in the 944.

Managed to dip a toe into the 134s, after switching to the Cobra and remembering to put on soft tyres. If i can just get the last section nailed i reckon I could get into the 133s with this car and Chronics V2 tune.

I feel like a mere youngster in the group at 50.

When i go out with a group of mates, I grew up with to the pub we are still called the youth squad by mates who are a bit older than us. We were called this in our teens and it just stuck :rofl:

I’ll always use my own tunes if that helps at all. Enjoy tuning more than winning  Thanks Moss!

Well, switch to HC and that is fun.
Got to 1:38.480 in the Sports Quattro.
There is a 1.37.5xx in the sector times, but I am really having problems with the 2-3rd corner that turn onto the back straight, can´t seem to get it right and will drop .400 there very easy.
Going to walk dogs while setting the afk leveling up, I might just be able to build another car and give that a go.
