Apologies if you already know but you can use manual clutch without having to press the clutch button if you have a race transmission fitted.

It’s usually faster than standard manual.

just tried a tune I made a while back for the #98 Ford Mustang and ran a 2:00.xxx with it, it’s not the fastest but nice to drive. File name: #98FordTune GS

I’ve finished for this week (series) with a 2:02.967 in the Chevy C8

Tune is shared if anyone wants to try

1.58.799 in the C8

I can go faster but not all in the same lap unfortunately.

1:59.367 in @RP_Jonathon V2 KTM.

For those like me who struggle with getting power down out of the corners I used sport TCS & STM (although I didn’t see STM activate) and normal steering.

Whilst this probably does knock some potential lap time out of it it may help give you a bit more confidence and consistency which may be what you need.

I tried the car with SIM steering and sport TCS initially but once TCS kicked in the car just chugged coming out of the corners.

I’ve enjoyed this season and hopefully we’ll have another good track by the time we resume things after the summer.

@RP_Jonathon I love that car! I’d love to try the tune, but I the Xbox app search fails to find your gamertag. Can you friend me please?

Down to 1:58.173 with Chevvy V8.

Must have aced the final sector as I was 3/10ths down in the middle sector. Happy days.

Definitely a 1:57.7 in the car again if I can put it all together.

The easiest way to get RP Jonathon’s setup is from the leaderboard. Find and select NapRockZen1’s time, then select Get tune.

1:58.007 now with Chevvy C8. Painfully close to that Illusive 57! :sob:

This forum puts an underscore in where there should be an empty space, probably why it wasn’t coming up if you were putting that in. Added you.

Gonna finish my week with the melodic sounds of the 488 singing in my ears with 2:04.089 :flushed::sunglasses:. And congratulations to ALL for a great season and here’s to seeing HLR together again in a few months!:clap::clap::clap:

My first one and unfortunately right at the end  enjoyable though.

Drove my head a little mad and I’ve put about 300 laps on the C8 but rather fun tinkering and seeing how far the car can be pushed.

For my time with the KTM I used @Lightsider74 fantastic “open” tune wich makes the car driveable for me.

I would like to thank you all and especially the HLR Team and all you great tuners for a really great season of Hotlapping! I hope to see you all again for the next season.

The Forza GT car division badly needs sorting. Less than half of the cars can be run competitively in R class, which makes no sense as a grouping. However, the cars that were available were fun to drive, and provided us with more competitive cars than many other divisions, although no match for the top cars in the class. This certainly showed when it came to preparing the Prize Liveries, with 6 different cars being used by podium sitters across the 3 Tiers. Quite a task for me LOL.

A warm welcome to new driver, NickyCyclone. Better late than never Nicky, and a brilliant first showing. Thanks to everyone that has supported us through our first season on this game. We have been thrilled with the response, and look forward to returning in a few months time after our Summer holiday break.

Here is a screenshot of the final leaderboard:

After first runs in the Essenza, and X-Bow, many of our Tier 1 drivers ended up in the Chevrolet #3 Corvette C8 R. New driver NickyCyclone threatened to take 1st place until RP Jonathon switched to the C8 on the final day to take the win. TRUEbk FFT arrived with a very late run in a #98 Mustang to snatch 3rd place from Lightsider74.

Tier 1 Prize winners

1st Place: RP Jonathon driving a 2020 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing C8 R
2nd Place: NickyCyclone driving a 2020 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing C8 R
3rd Place: TRUEbk FFT driving a 2018 Ford #98 Breathless Pro Racing TA Mustang

Tuner Prize: RP Jonathon shared the highest placed setup, but won a prize for his driving.

Another impressive drive by TBAR1980 saw him comfortably take 1st place in Tier 2 driving the KTM X-Xbow. OdEssA VL took 2nd place from Coopracing on the final day with an excellent lap in the Essenza, pushing haulmarc out of the podium places.

Tier 2 Prize winners

1st Place: TBAR1980 driving a 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2
2nd Place: OdEssA VL driving a 2020 Lamborghini Essenza SCV12
3rd Place: Coopracing driving a 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2

Only 4 drivers from Tier 3 accepted the challenge, and all 4 drove different cars LOL. Jo CptnSlow was the only driver to miss out on a prize, driving the Audi #17 Rotek.

Tier 3 Prize winners

1st Place: BurninAsphalt driving a 2019 Ferrari #6 Risi Competizione 488 GTE
2nd Place: Catsmeat driving a 2019 McLaren #03 720S GT3
3rd Place: specificity70 driving a 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2

Congratulations to all our prize winners. Each livery will carry a different race number, and will be personalised with the driver’s gamertag. I am more than happy to add race numbers of your choice if you message me with the details.

The 2020 Chevrolet #3 Corvette Racing C8 R

The 2018 Ford #98 Breathless Pro Racing TA Mustang

The 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2

The 2020 Lamborghini Essenza SCV12

2019 Ferrari #6 Risi Competizione 488 GTE

2019 McLaren #03 720S GT3

To collect your livery drop me a message when you see me online, and I will share it long enough for you to download. I won’t be upset if you decide you don’t want it.

I’ll be around until Wednesday, 29th May, but if you miss me, and still want your livery, I’ll be back from holiday on Sunday, 16th June.

NB. All exclusive liveries will not exist as a file to be reloaded once unshared and deleted. If you overwrite it, you will lose it.

Once again, thanks for all your support over the last six months. We’ll be back after a Summer break.
