They could add it just like this and it would line up with the unused roads on Hakone circuit currently with some editing. Plus from what i remember Fujimi did not have a pit lane and this would solve that because you would use the one on Hakone already.

They might be saving it until the drift mode gets released and its major bugs are ironed out. The drift mode is confirmed for later this year so maybe sometime early next year hopefully.

I hope so this would be a dream come true . Hakone pass or Fujimi kaido .which ever is going to be connected to Hakone . I’ll be very happy or both 
Yo I think this is just Hakone pass , Fujimi layout doesn’t match these roads . Which I hope is coming soon why else would there be roads out there connecting to the track . The devs gotta make this happen , they would get so much love and praise

Fujimi and Hakone Pass are different tracks. A track map for the latter already exists in the game files.

I think Hakone pass was intended for release but then got delayed, but yeah, I’m almost 100% sure circuit Hakone and Hakone pass connect. I was already insanely excited for Fujimi Kaido returning, but if we get Hakone pass a little bit later, that would be awesome!!! Just gonna drop this in here again to remind people of what was planned.

I wouldn’t say it’s a guarantee that we’re getting it.
It’s clear that some work has been done on it, but, by no means is it certain that the track has been finished, or scheduled/planned for a release.
From what I’ve seen of it though, Hakone Pass would be a good addition, it would give Hakone a lower-class component to it, given that most of the current layout is too fast for D and C class cars.

Maybe, just maybe, in the far future… A super duper mega layout that will connect Fujimi Kaido to the Hakone Circuit to make a circuit longer than the Nürburgring Full?

I really want it as werll, maybe a fm version of okutama getting part of the track
This track should be more realistic than Fujimi Kaido, where there shouldn’t be very wide roads with crazy elevation changes at the top.

Fujimi Kaido looks amazing in terms of the environment, road textures, objects and other things, but the road is very unrealistic and all this combined (realistic, high-quality environment and unrealistic road) causes dissonance. I think other mountain roads in the same area (Hakone) should be added to the game. There are many interesting routes there. You can take a look at the routes of Tsubaki Line, Yabitsu, Nanamagari, Nagao and other routes. The main thing is that it should be a realistic track! The width of the road, the length of the turns, the angle of inclination so that it would not be as crazy as on Fujimi Kaido
