So I pay extra to get early access to this game and have to uninstall my anti-virus to play, the mouse goes off screen even when playing with controller (which ends up causing windows to do stupid stuff), can’t stream on discord without the game crashing. Is this a joke or a AAA title? not quite sure at this point to be honest.

And this is why I don’t do pre order, probably won’t even buy the basic game, just play it thru game pass.
Works fine for me maxed out all settings for 1080p running around 80fps and up. I had no issues with antivirus just an notification asking to allow app to run. Game looks amazing.

Putting aside that “AAA title” and “joke” are synonymous these days, anti-virus clashes (and if it was Norton or McAfee, that’s on you) and problems playing in windowed mode are issues I would call common to PC gaming. If you haven’t even had to roll back graphic drivers to an earlier version (or had to install the beta drivers), had to modify an .ini just to get it to launch, or had to replace a file with a community-fixed copy then you haven’t had a real problem yet.

I have a massive desynced line in the middle of my screen. I think I have a real problem. I’m guessing it’s due to the chromatic aberration issues listed in the known issues page, and the fact that it never turns off, even when you tell it to. All I know is that it is unacceptably bad, and no matter the settings it doesn’t seem to go away. I think that qualifies as a real problem.
Edit: and now I’ve hard crashed for the third time. NGL I’m in “did they even bother play testing on PC?” mode right now.
I only had weird lines when i used “resolution scaling” in video settings of FH5 so i turned that off, but i’m not sure if that is what you mean?
First impression, I hate the steering. Every car has way too much grip, they do not turn, like at all!
Importing tunes ain’t gonna help you because I’m using the exact same tune for my Jesko from FH4 and this thing won’t stay on the road!
And I am streaming on Twitch right now but I’m only going after bonus boards and finding all the roads.
My first impression on the Xbox One S was spectacular… in that there were 20 second load times between each transition of the Initial Drive, and none of the textures loaded during the cutscene prior to the Desert Flyer.

Needing to uninstall a 3rd party anti-virus program is not solely a Horizon 5 issue…it regularly happens on a lot of games (and also on a lot of non-gaming apps and programs too). 3rd party AV programs can be quite sensitive to .exe files and can create all sorts of aggravation. Even if you uninstall it, you still have Windows Defender which is better than a lot of 3rd party ones anyway…I have only used it for the past 10 years and only time I had an issue was when over-riding it
