Looks like it wont be fixed in the upcoming patch going by their patch notes. Would have thought they would fix this as soon as possible because lots of livery creators like to make liveries and now have to wait for this to get fixed
Xbox series X - Samsung TV - cannot adjust video settings to black on settings/video for any of the three graphics options. First box with FM logo always visible, cannot get black. Intro screen appears grey and pixelated.
When you did this for Pc everything about colors back to normal ? And when i left playing Forza do i need to do make default setting for other games. Because i will change color settings for this game.
I haven’t seen this posted here, but when my Golf Forza Touring appeared matte brick red when I had selected glossy rich maroon, I replaced the body color with vinyls. The vinyls had the correct coloring. This might be a good temporary fix for some of the issues listed here.
I had the same issue on Series X with a Samsung TV. The only walkaround I could find is to lower the TV brightness to the bare minimum, although this is not the optimal solution to the problem and it is still there, just attenuated.
This has still not been fixed with the latest update, seriously what is turn 10 doing why can this not easily be fixed ?
yes problem is still there btw dont forget to install last gpu driver for Nvidia if you use it. today released.
Update installed, and nothing changed: black looks gray, red looks pink… And it crashed again after the first race!
Nope. Definitely not fixed on my Xbox Series X, despite having just installed Update 1.0.
Black vinyl shape is black, but black car paint is still gray.
The only true black paint to show up on a vehicle (whether it be car paint, wheel paint, caliper paint, etc.) is when the two tone metal flake paint is used and brightness values for both base and flake paints are brought down to 0.00. Xbox Series X
For me on PC, no matter what color I paint my wheels they are silver. The only time I can get the colors to actually change are if I do the special color options (I have not tried to adjust the hues in advanced settings on special colors to achieve a desired color, I was too mad at the standard colors not working). I have TE37 on my S13 coupe and no matter what color I select they appear silver. The hue slightly changes based on the color selected but it looks more like a very light tint to a standard silver wheel. Drives me absolutely nuts. Have RPF1 on an STI Hatch and unpainted they show up a gross yellow/gold color and if I paint them any other color they turn silver as well. It’s whack.
Just to add to the thread, some cars have a factory black, which looks fine. For example, the SRT viper (2013 I think), factory black looks fine, but Forza’s black looks gray/brown. Other Forza colors look bad as well.
JFYI, I’m on Series X
This difference of hue between paint and vinyl also happens on other colors. I made a special gloss red for the body paint, and then replicated the values onto a vinyl and the colors were different. Did on Xbox Series X as well.
Adding some photos that I already sent to support, but look at the black levels, the appearance of a graphic that is not clean, bright, there is a mixture of colors there, I don’t know if it is related to hdr, it affects the game as a all. The attention to detail is missing in various aspects, and this is on Series X.
Please fix this problem as soon as possible. I can’t enjoy the game
Voted! HDR needs rebalancing.
Blacks should look like pure blacks, greys like greys ans whites like whites.
The game has a Starfield-like 70s films kinda grey/brown filter going on.
A fix would be nice. I own the game on PC, Windows version, and since switching to DLAA I have the same bug, it’s particularly noticeable with red. Color shows correctly in the menu, and is completely washed out in game (as a user demonstrated in this thread via screenshot). No amount of restarting and changing settings again has fixed this so far.
EDIT: For some reason (probably me struggling with the mouse and keyboard in my sim rig) one of the colorblind filters under Accessibility was turned on, setting this back to Off solved the issue on my end.
the lambo paint doesn’t work right, I try to paint it black and it ends up grey
Please fix!!
