And yes, you read that right, this will be launched under the GR brand exclusively without a Toyota badge on it.

yes but also no, they are making GR its own brand. you wouldnt list lexus under toyota even though it is. Like in game how we have mervedes-benz and mercedes-amg, yes there have been AMG versions of mercedes in the past, even fully bespoke (the mercedes-benz CLK GTR was built by and for AMG), the new cars are still branded differently as their partnership has changed. Maybe thinking it like “Land Rover” is not just branded under “Rover” even though it started out as a model of Rover.
I really hope this is the Forza Horizon 6 cover car!
I personally believe that it is cause strangley enough it’s also going to be at the Tokyo Auto Salon in January 9th to the 11th if I’m remembering correctly and the Xbox Developer Direct is happening in January as well either the timing is perfect or it could be a sign 
I want this car in Motorsport too! All the cars who appear in H6 must be in Motorsport, the racing ones of course. This one is a fine example
