Yeah, I’m at level 734 and now each level is over 150k XP each. My most recent 10 lap Goliath race only gained me 12 levels because they’re so long. So yeah, I’m probably past that point now to where it would be easier to buy spins than win them.
Well ok, so if you used a credit boost car u get lets say : 1/3 of 1.7mill xp (if using xp boost car post patch) wich is 566.666 points of xp and in return you get 3.777 levels at 150k xp points a level. But you get more credits. About 1/3 more credits wich is 450k - 500k , judging if 50k a wheelspin, you get 8 - 10 wheelspins per 10 laps wich is 4-6 more than using xp he car and 5-7 more than skill boost car.
I am at level 625 and i need ~118k xp points per level gets me 4.8 levels.
So in conclusion the level of reach point-even must not be over 55k - 63k xp points per level to be more profitable ? (Calculations on the fly )
That seems about right. After that level is better to use credit car boost.
Can you please explain in the common (English) tongue what you mean with this mathematical scientific calculation ? For I have no clue what you are on about. And I do not mean this to be nasty or annoying, I just do not understand.
To see when it’s better to use a credit-boost car or a xp-boost car, you only have to compare the credit bonus of the credit-car (and only that bonus) with the xp bonus of the xp-car. All other XP and credits you get whether you use a HE-car or not - so only the car-related bonus is important.
Buying a wheelspin with the according skill always costs 50k. The break-even point is:
(credit bonus from car)/50,000cr = (xp bonus from car)/(XP needed to currently level up) - if you don’t consider VIP Bonus.
At the beginning the XP amount needed for the next level is very low - so it’s a no-brainer to use an XP-boost (by skill/drift or direct bonus) HE-car, especially when you got VIP-Bonus. But the higher you level, the more XP you need for your next level while the bonus from races and the price for wheelspins stay the same. That means, at a certain point you get less wheelspins from an XP-bonus car than from a credit-boost car for the same race.
Example:
Let’s say, I am level 400+ and I need 70k XP to level up at moment. Placing first at the end of the race, my 2017 Ford GT HE (credits boost) gets me 150k bonus credits at a 3-laps Goliath-race, whereas my 2016 F-TYPE Project 7 Horizon Edition yields 150k XP bonus for the same 3-laps race. For the bonus credits I get 3 wheel-spins, the xp bonus just results in 2 spins (150,000/70,000). That is if you don’t take lap-times and VIP-Bonus into the calculation, VIP’s money bonus might give you another wheelspin.
Anyway, after Level 400 I stopped using xp-cars and I stick to the Ford GT.
I was only buying wheelspins to get all those HE cars (which I have so far), but even though I was trying for level 1,000 (star) I’ll still likely start using credit boost cars since I’m now at level 772 and need over 160k XP per level now. Even though it would take longer this way, I guess I’ll still make it to level 1,000 eventually… lol
Wall grinding (if that’s what you’re referring to) sounds too much like cheating to me. I’ll probably stick with the Huracan HE until I get the star (level 1,000) then perhaps do a Credit Boost car, probably the Ford GT HE. I generally don’t try for drift taps, and if I get one, it’s because I waited a little too long to brake for a corner. I suck at drifting anyway, at least when it comes to drift taps, as I often hit the wall too hard and lose my skill chain.Edit: I’ll be using an XP-boost car because of the upcoming patch that reduces skill chain XP.
BREAKING NEWS: If you’re going for XP, the XP boost cars are better than the skill boost cars, thanks to this upcoming patch that reduces skill chain XP. Even though I previously posted that skill boost cars are better, that’s no longer the case.
I agree with the cooldown on the drift tap as that did seem to be cheating, however not so sure about reducing XP from skill chains. I didn’t think that skills chains seemed overly exploitive?
Right, so I’m going to do a 5 lap of Goliath with the Huracan HE with the skill XP perk also right now and write down the XP I gain. Then after the update I shall do the exact same thing and see how much less XP I get.
