I get that we want to eliminate griefing and ramming, but do we really have to go ghost when we get closer to other players cars? Half the reason I play is to show off the cars I build and check out other players cars.
It’s seriously disappointing that you ghost when you get anywhere close to another player. The ghosting is effect is completely unnecessary. We can go through other cars without going ghost. I hope with gets fixed, because it’s seriously ruining it for me.
It’s a small thing, but it bugs me. Is there something I’m missing?

No one wants to get rammed over and over and over while driving around. Too bad. No one cares about you showing off your car. Do a race.
Essentially you just want opaque ghosting, right?
You missed the point and were quire rude about it. OP was not saying he wanted to ram vehicles, just that he wanted to get close to other players without his vehicle becoming semi-transparent, while still maintaining no-collision (from what I understand)

I see he does not want to ram and I suppose they can ghost the way they did In FH3. If they ever add no collisions those non see through ghost are terrible. I don’t want to see the other guys dashboard while I am racing. Blinding. Other people will ram though. They already figured out you can throw drivatars into people. This is the least of the issues with this game.
I think we should be given a Choice if collisions or ghosts I hate ghosting it takes you out of racing against people waiting for the right time to overtake and might as well be doing a time trial like rivals you might as well not be playing against anyone. Pathetic and I don’t bother with online anymore apart from forzathon

There are no ghost races as of yet in H4 at all. Not even a choice. Some of us don’t want tp play with children who think ramming is the way to play. It is not like doing rivals at all. Still a race. Yes, not ideal but if you don’t want to be with griefers what else can you do? Some extremely talented and skilled racers used to do ghost adventure in H3. Extremely competitive. It is frustrating to be doing well and almost every single time some skill less knucklehead has to screw it up. People do not behave in Forza and probably never will. After 11 years or so of playing Forza it gets old.
In the Hud and Gameplay settings there’s an option to turn ghosts off, if that’s what you’re talking about.
I hit the off option but I still see ghosts.
That applies to Rivals ghosts, I believe.
