Bug

  • Gameplay - Estimated Fuel telemetry always shows as ‘0’ in Practice no matter the adjustment (All) (1579062)

Status

  • Known Issue - Investigating (Oct. 4)

13 Oct 23 - On Series X. When starting a practice session in single player tour and choosing the amount of fuel to load from the car menu, quite often the number of laps indicator underneath the slider shows zero laps regardless of how much fuel you choose. Backing out to main menu and restarting the event fixes this temporarily, but this has happened multiple times to me so far.

Yep, bugged. Number of laps only show when adjusting fuel in career races.

Unsure if its been reported already (couldnt find it if it has) - but please vote this topic is you have also found the following error ingame:

Carrer Mode - Lower Fuel amount = 0 Laps / Or says enough for xx laps
But once the race starts, not enough fuel in tank to complate the required laps

Example: Jaguar F-Type, race is 5 laps > Set fuel to 15% which was reported as 7laps worth, started race, took a few corners - remaining fuel 1 lap.

I’ve had the same issue with multiple cars.
Sometimes the estimate is stuck on 0 laps, so I have to make a guess at how much I need. When the race starts it shows 300 laps of fuel (with only 25% or something) and by the end of the lap there’s only 7 laps left.

This issue is already listed in the Known issues list as bug no. 1579062.

I’ve played the game once since Update 1.0 and it hasn’t reoccurred yet. Will keep an eye on it over the next few days.

It appears in private multiplayer too.

I encountered the bug again while in singleplayer mode today. Update 1.0 hasn’t fixed it as I’d hoped.

I’ve just had the same issue occur at the Race Start point. I forgot to check at the Practice point but in any case it’s obviously still o/s to be addressed.

Same issue here. Although on some rare occasions, it shows in freeplay but mostly doesn’t.

Also happens in featured multiplayer. I notice it more often after i load a tune. I either back out or throw in a crap ton of fuel to compensate

When starting a race in FreePlay fuel defaults to 5% car runs out of fuel before first lap is finished, when selecting fuel option at 5% game says fuel will last for 20 to 30 laps at 5% which is incorrect

This is a bug, I’ve seen it in Builder’s Cup too.

It happens in multiplayer too, sometimes u will see that fuel will last 689 or something laps, that is untill u do some practice laps for calculator to kick in and fix it.
