I have the Ultimate Edition and selected the VIP Gold Driver Suit. During a Career race when showing the race intro cinematic, where your driver walks to the car, the suit changed to the Diagonals Orange suit (which is the first suit after all VIP options).

I would go back to the Driver setting and change the suit back to VIP Gold. After several more Career races, the suit would change back to Diagonals Orange. I have experienced this twice in the last two days.

I am playing on Xbox Series X.

12/26/23 Update: It happened again when I started my first multiplayer race. Cutscene showed me wearing the Diagonals Orange suit. I had to go back to the Driver menu to switch back to my VIP suit.

12/27/23 Update: It happened again when I started a Career Builder Open Class race. Cutscene showed me wearing the Diagonals Orange suit. I had to go back to the Driver menu to switch back to my VIP suit. I wonder if adding the new suit unlocks for XP levels created this bug?

Yeah, having the same issue on XBSX where after the game crashes, it will return to the default ‘Orange Diagonals’.

Driver race suit keeps resetting to Diagonals Orange from VIP white. This has been an issue since launch.

Bug Info: I have the premium edition of FM8, which includes VIP Membership. I select a VIP exclusive race suit in game. When I start a new race or exit and restart the game, I am assigned a random non-VIP race suit.
Platform: Windows PC, Cloud.
Edition: Premium.
Account: Family sharing, I am owner.
Content Update: Been happening since day 1.

I took a break from the game, then came back after Update 4. Driver suit still automatically changes from VIP suit to the Diagonals Orange suit.

Please fix this, Turn 10.

XBX: The game automatically revert to the previously used driver suit after game restart. Changing the driver suit only lasts while the current game session is ongoing.

Maybe this is bordering on the same issue as with the drivatar liveries that keeps turning back on every time the game is restarted? It’s almost like the game doesn’t accept you changing it’s settings and reverts them at game restart…

This is a trivial thing but my driver suit changes when I start the game. I change it back to my normal suit but it changes every time I start the game.

Yep, same. And that’s a suit I never selected myself, so it’s more going on than just the settings reverting to a previous save. It’s actually switching to a setting you have never saved before.

Game crashes when browsing thru the suits, had it 3 times in a row yesterday. I was scrolling thru to get rid of the blue dots and then it just hangs for about 10 seconds and CTD with no error code

It ALWAYS ends up with the Diagonals Orange suit for me. It’s appalling that a bug like this is still not patched after so many updates.

After an extended break, I came back to see if Update 5 fixed this issue. Unfortunately it didn’t.

When I’m wearing a VIP outfit, sometimes my clothes resetting to a orange outfit. Please fix this bug.

If you choose any of the VIP suits, you’ll always end up with the Diagonals Orange suit.

I’ve given up and chosen the Faithful Fan suit and moved on. Not worth my previous time dealing with this nonsense.
