After reading all the topics and posts regarding this issue, and seeing absolutely no response from anyone at Turn10, it looks like we are on our own with this…
Not even a “Sorry, we are aware of it”…
I deleted my save and started again…Fingers crossed it doesn’t happen again!
How do you delete your save and does your credits stay intact or no?
Also can not continue. I finished the balloon race but no new event started. And I can not cancel or change the current Championship (that I finished anyway). Never had Problems before so maybe it is really related to the big patch that was recently released.
Exact same this happen to me, was in middle of balloon race, then was prompted to update. After update, I did balloon race and now can not continue with no races or able to change championships. Pisses me off when I got 4mil in credits. I tried, hard reset,deleted console save data and reloading cloud data. No luck! Pretty pissed off.
To Delete save:
From the Home screen, select My games & apps.
Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.
Scroll to the right, highlight the saved data for your gamertag under Saved Data, and then press A on your controller.
You will be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:
Delete from console will remove the local copy of this save. You can retrieve it from the cloud the next time you play.
Delete everywhere will remove your saved data from this console, the cloud and all other consoles you play on.
For me it wiped out everything (lvl 0, no cars, no money etc). The only things left seem to be speed camera times and some of the club data.
It’s a bit weird…The second race I did it unlocked the Loyal cheevo (earn 500,000 XP for your club) and when i drive down a new road it says x out 315 roads discovered and then brings up
the club comparison saying I have 315/315…So I’m guessing things like leaderboards are saved separately?
Seriously T10, over 2 months…100’s of complaints, and not a single response?
Same issue. No ability to progress. No championships appear after completing balloon race, have tried hard reset/save deletion/etc. ANother way Microsoft has made me regret getting an xbox one this year, along with Master Chief Collection. Extremely disappointed in the whole xbox experience.
I need help. I have finished race of the balloon to montellino and me no more Champioships to do.The map montellino stays red but I’m not changing the league and if I go to the center of horizon nothing happens.

2 days ago or so I played after a couple day hiatus. There was an update. I didn’t think much of it. I had just finished the championship at Nice and was now 2 championships away from the finale. Next up was the last showcase called Storm Chaser. I won that and now there is no road trip. Anna only takes me to the nearest car meet. There are no championships available and when I go to the nice highlighted hub it tells me I must be at the road trip end point to change championships. I have no idea what is going on but I essentially haven’t been able to advance for two days and this is a deal breaker.
PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM
i have the same issue of updating for storm island doing the hot air balloon race and then being stuck at montellino with having the championship unavailable and unable to register and must be at road trips next destination when i dont even have another spot to go to!!! Very frustrating and i have tried reseting xbox, uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing alternate mac, and refreshing my profile…all help from XBOX ONE CUSTOMER SERVICE…atleast they tried to help me in trying to fix this issue while people been having this problem for almost three months and no solution Turn10…ive never went through this with a xbox game and ive been playing xbox since the 360 first came out…Extremy disapointing because this is a great game just like the first one and lots of fun to play except for this very annoying i guess you can call glitch that completly ruins it

I’m having the same exact problem at the same part. Very frustrating and I hope it gets fixed soon.
Same problem. Happened after crop duster race along side storm Island download and update. I was already pissed I had to pay for DLC when I’m VIP but this is bloody outrageous, 3 months this had been going on. Guess I can put this game away for a while as there is certainly no sense of urgency to rectify this problem.

This is really upsetting 53 hours invested, 78 cars, 9 million credits, level 84, all roads and boards, if I have to restart to fix this, I won’t, I’ll chalk it up to a loss and move on. I’ve played and nearly 100% every single Forza title from the beginning this would be a real black mark on that trend. More details, perhaps to help trouble shoot… Just finished San Giovanni JDM legends tournament 2/4, got invite to crop duster race, quit for night, purchase and install storm Island next day, complete crop duster event, play online with friend, quit for night, notice following day I can’t get any solo events to work, presume maybe I have to go to storm Island first, go to storm Island and do initial tournament, play around a bit, go back to mainland to see if working, nope, search Web and find this thread, race crop duster event again, nope, reboot xbone, nope, uninstall storm Island, nope, ask Anna what to do and she says I’m in a tournament would I like to set destination to next event, I say yes but she ignores me, repeat several times and Anna continues to not here me say yes, she acknowledges when I say no. Fed up and really down about this hopefully I get an update soon.
Does anyone know if buying Storm Island or a VIP pass resolves this issue? Like others I completed balloon race and now cannot progress as highlighted hub says it’s not the active championship. Only other highlight is Storm Island. I don’t want to buy the expansion and then find I am throwing money away. Thanks

No. I am VIP and purchased Storm Island DLC, in fact it was right about the time I purchased the DLC that my game screwed up. I’m going to try going to all the car meets, someone on another forum said he went to a car meet and it fixed it. No indication which one. This seems like a long standing glitch, unfortunately it would appear it’s not very widespread so there will likely be little attention given to it. I’m back onto the other broken triple A game I purchased at launch for full price… HMCC for now.
Same thing happened to me, all the championships are greyed out and locked as “unavailable”. It happened right after the storm island update. Lemme know if y’all find anything. This is very frustrating!

Same problem on XBOX ONE.
I’m now stuck in free roam mode with no new races available. The Select Championship is greyed out. and If I use ‘Anna - continue road trip’ it just navigates me to the nearest online car meet??? The game cannot connect me to any friends or races online. it just keeps failing and telling me to check my internet connection.
This has all happened since Storm Island appeared. I will not purchase Storm Island until I get my Solo mode back and working.
a Friend of mine said his game done two updates last week, my game has no updated once. or at least not notified me of any updates being installed.
Whats going on?
This game seems broken and we need answers or an email informing us of whats going on. This could be very damaging to the Forza community and name going forward.
