So I turned on my xbox and tried to go play horizon 2 when I got home today, but it is stuck on the loading screen that comes after “Press A to start.” It has been like this for a while. I have the digital copy, so are there any suggestions as to what I should do?
Me too. This is insane. This makes me regret buying digitally because I can’t trade it in. I’m nearing my breaking point with this. It’s been a month and a half since launch.
Have you tried a complete console shutdown? If not, hold the Xbox One power button (not the controller’s) until it turns off completely. This will clear your temporary memory cache and doesn’t not affect your gamesave file. Then, reboot and attempt to launch Forza Horizon 2. If that fails, continue below.
If what you are saying is true in that it is stalling on the loading screen and you are not experiencing a sync issue, I recommend trying to remove and reinstall the game from your hard drive. Unfortunately for you, the download and reinstall will take some time but it certainly worth attempting if a console cache cleanout fails.
