Yes, I agree, maybe if you are speeding in a speed trap an officer will try to pull you over, and maybe patrol cars can sit on the side of the road to stop you from speeding. Of course, that would remove the PG rating from the game potentially. But it would be nice to have police chases as an optional feature, maybe even with slow helicopters to chase you as well for an additional

Although i think playground games need to be reworked or scrapped completely. I think cops and robbers game mode isnt anything so much more different than the current playground games.
Its just another itteration of Infected but replace Infected with Cops Vs Robbers instead of zombies Vs survivors. I guess they could introduce this as some limited time game -mode. If say they plan to have a certain themed festival playlist or a challenge. But thats too much work and very unlikely so no.
I suppose thereās only so much you can do with a car and turn that into a fun game-mode. Sooner or later whatever the idea is it wont be something so much further different from what playground games already is.
What else thenā¦ hmā¦ Car football? In my opinion it would be a bit of a messy game-mode so no to that as wellā¦ I would like to see new fun driven game-modes dont get me wrong. I just would want it to be something more unique rather than an iteration of something that already exists.

Cops and robbers (ie fugitive) is played in a large size map and is point-to-point. For instance (get from Horizon Stadium to the central park in Guanajuato). The goal of robbers is to get to the end location without being caught. In real life you play at night, and use flashlights, and have multiple ācopsā per car to help spot people hiding in bushes/behind a wall/in some dark alley or something. Way more about carefully getting to point B (as a robber), and eliminating possible routes for robbers (as a cop). A lot of stealth and strategy and a little speed/manueverability. Very different from current PGG gamemodes.
Would never happen. Iām positive that the prescence of police chases automatically gets a game with driving mechanics an immediate T for Teen rating regardless of the rest of the content in the game, and Playground/Microsoft seem pretty content with keeping Horizon at a very low E for Everyone, which is a pity for other reasons.
Also the canon idea is that the Horizon Festival is completely legal and has some sort of permission to let their drivers hoon around so police would be kind of pointless. Except with Street Races. In FH3 they said that those were not supported by the Horizon Festival which is why you race with traffic. They could add police for that though

you can get cop chases in NFS or from the crew and gta games, forza was never about cop chases, you might as well change games for that matter

Thereās partly that function in the PG section. Where you are busy chasing/tagging people.
Iām not wholly opposed. But be warned, itād amplify the culture of ramming.

or use game mode 1vs1 and the challenger is a police car. If police car wins the other vehicle gets towed away and you pay a fine to get your car out.
This probably wonāt be added but could you add ai police cars that if you hit they chase you and depending on how long you have been running from them is how much money you lose but also make it so you can lose them and the money amount starts a 300cr
Even if you make it a game mode for single-player/multi-player
I suggested this to, get pulled over or drop a few gears and run it .
