From about last 10 days, I am experiencing game crashing when doing forzathon live. This doesn’t happen while online racing or solo freeroam/race. This is annoying as atleast 10 times it has crashed while doing the 3rd round of forzathon. The game has to be restarted and I get no points.
Since the release of Fortune Island this is happening a lot more.
Anybody else experiencing this ?
Yeah it happens to me quite a bit lately. That and getting kicked into a one player Forzathon when I’m sitting there with other players. It’s becoming extremely frustrating.
@Metaldino13 Same. My convoy partner and I got put into a Forzathon just the two of us. The first one was a drift zone, which is an impossible time killer with only 2 participants, so I found a new session. In the new session we were still alone in our Forzathon, but there were 20 other people doing their OWN forzathon, to which my convoy was apparently not invited. Love this game, but Forzathon is buggy ah. As is Fortune Island now, I have friends that cant even get there for two days now because of crashes during loading.
hi mine and my friends been doing this from day one and we are both digital download owners of the game as well the game freezes and chucks us out back to xbox home screen or lately disconnects us from the server on round 2 or near the end of round 3 i have put a ticket into Forza support as got fed up on the 7th of this month doing this to us all the time and no reply back yet a love the game but now a dont even do the forzathon as scared it will do the same to me Yet again
Just to add to what A7MAN says, just before forzathon live, we would all be in the marked area, and when the event starts , many times, I would be alone or with 1 other driver doing the event. Even though before the event starts there would be 6-10 people and we’d all be chatting. This makes it impossible to finish the targets in the stipulated time. This sort of behavior has been happening from the beginning.
The think forzathon should scale the targets of individual events down to the number of players in it.
I’m glad I came here looking for info about this issue. Good to know it wasnt just me having this problem (no offense to you all, just refreshing it wasnt a consolidated issue). This never used to happen to me before Fortune Island released. Almost always on the 3rd round and it freezes up and back to the home screen I go. About at least 5-10 times now. That’s a decent amount of forza points lost. Even froze once while drag racing although I dont necessarily blame that on this latest update because my game (digital version) would freeze now and again before this update. But the Forzathon thing is extremely annoying when you putting in work for the events and get kicked out just before the redemption. Hope an update comes to fix this soon.
I’ve had this issue as well, for the last 3-4 days sporadically. I’ve been in at least 2 sessions and dropped back to the Xbox home screen, and of course lost the 20-40 Forzathon points already completed in each session.
I have had the kick to home screen happen to me a lot since playing the game about a month ago.Engine sound jamming as well.
Since the new expansion I think I have finished about two out of about Forzathons I have tried.
I have uninstalled the whole game and tried a fresh download, but same problems occurring.
I use a standard Xbox with an elite controller,all sound outputs set to stereo uncompressed ,1080p display.
Ive had it happen a couple of times too. Tonight it was after the final event, but about 10-12 after the hour. Just wondering if that time is the same for others. I will keep watching the clock the next time I crash out.
For me its happening after wasting 10 minutes on forzathon then ending up with 0 points. For past 3 days, the game is crashing while I launch it everytime, so basically launching it twice.
Same here it just crashed for me right before the forzathon ended. Also just random crashes here and there without reason. I would love to give any help on what happens and when but the crashes just randomly occur.
