Make the game where you can earn car XP for drifting. Better and longer the drift better XP rewards. Maybe even make it to where with the switch of an option you could choose between earning XP for drifting or the way it is set up now.
This might get added when they introduce drift mode to the game.
But yeah, I hope it gets added as it is a way of showing mastery of the car!
