New to this game (I know late to the show) and just recently discovered this forum.
So a few weeks ago I picked up an XBox One X and FH4. Yesterday I picked up a G920 wheel. At first I have to say I was rather unimpressed with the wheel. I was experiencing a lot of snap over steer in the game when using the wheel and was considering taking it back.
I did some Google searches and watch YouTube for settings of the wheel and discovered this forum as a result.
That in turn led me to finding out about Forza Tune Pro - best thing I have found.
So what I discovered is that it’s not the wheel that was the issue - rather my car set-up.
I just got done running around in the game for about an hour and found it very enjoyable after getting my car set-up correctly thanks to Forza Tune Pro. Looking at the settings it suggested vs. the settings I had chosen. I wasn’t even close to correctly dialed in.
As far as the game settings I’m using: All assists off other than braking line and using simulation steering.
Cars handle great and the wheel is very responsive.
Wheel set-up are all default settings right now, using whatever the latest firmware was as of 9/18/20 from Logitech (don’t remember the build number) - sudden snap over steer is gone. Only time I spin out now I can honestly say I drove the corner wrong and over corrected or had bad throttle input from my foot - not the game settings.
I also found it even more accurate when changing my camera view to in cockpit as well.
So if anyone else out there is still also having problems with the wheel - consider looking closer at your tune set-up of your car. It helped me a lot.
Note: I am not affiliated with Forza Tune Pro other than I purchased it earlier this morning.
