G29 Steering wheel turning problem

Hello all,

Recently, I bought Forza Horizon 4 and I love everything about it. But there are some things that doesn’t seem to work with my Logitech G29 Steering wheel.

The problem being that when I take a turn with any car, the following could happen:

  • Vehicle brakes in turn, making me go straight instead of turning and crashing
  • Vehicle loses grip, making it spin out, exaggerating a “drift”

Has anyone experienced this already or have any solution to my problem? It’s getting quite annoying and unplayable at this point. I’m losing every race due to spin out of control or the lack of ability to turn without crashing/spinning out.

You might need to adjust the in-game wheel settings. I have a friend who has a G29 and it took him quite a bit of tuning to get the wheel where he liked it because the default settings aren’t very good. I seem to remember that he turned down the sensitivity quite a bit, so you might try that if you haven’t already. It helped with spin-outs. Not sure what is causing braking during turns. That’s a new one to me.
