[FTI] FF's Tuning Thread - [11/05/17] - Hot Wheels DLC, 'The Workhorse', Porsche & MORE!

Hi all!

I’m new to tuning, having only been doing it for a couple of months now, making tunes that cater to my needs (Mainly forzatography) and then sharing them on to everyone else, but I figured why not make a thread for it? I’m always looking for feedback with tuning and this is one of the best ways to get it!

Cheers Luu. Sorry about the late reply.

So a quick update while I have a few minutes. I’m gonna run through this as quick as I can. Since the last post I made I have hit two stars (Yay!) and also now have well over a hundred tunes I still need to update in here that I’ve done. In the meantime, I’ve updated the thread with all the cars I could that are either brand new or something particularly noteworthy.

So, let me break down what I have put up:

Starting off really quick, all the Porsche cars I have tuned and shared, with all but the 356 having a tune available in it’s stock drivetrain (With all of them being stock in appearance A.K.A no aero). If anyone is still in the market for these, feel free to check them out. I have also covered most of the different bodykits that make-up extra models of Porsche (Like the 964 bodykit that’s available for the '78 930 Turbo for example) if anyone is after a specific, external look.

Moving on to one of my favourites lately. My '74 Toyota Celica GT tune (A.K.A ‘The Workhorse’ tune) has set numerous top 5’s and 3’s across the base game’s circuit tracks, which in a lot of cases has made it the fastest C class '74 Celica tune for each circuit I set a time in. I didn’t spend a lot of time with it, but everyone else is welcome to give it a try if they like and see how they go! The tune will feel weird when turning, like it’s on a trolley or something, but I meant it to be that way. It’s super fast as a result, having a widebody and some nice rims to boot! I love it!

I’ve also posted a bunch of muscle cars up there with a lot of them having a good setup in B class to try the leaderboards with. These I have been using for adventure and they are super fast! And with a stock look, no one will expect a sleeper!

Last but not least, the Hot Wheels cars. I’ve finished tuning them all and they have been shared. Most of these cars, after tuning them, I can see have a potential to hit up a leaderboard and set a really quick time, which brings me to my next subject. I tried my Bone Shaker tune out for a dummy lap in S1 in Surfer’s Paradise and watched it beat the #1 time’s WRX in a straight line, add that with the personal testing I did for the handling and I can see it could quite possibly beat the WRX’s that have held the S1 leaderboards for so long…which, I know sounds like a big claim, and normally I do try these things out and find out first hand myself before I go for it, but I just don’t have the time right now. If anyone is interested and/or capable, you’re all welcome to try it out yourselves (Or even try your own tunes) and see how well it goes. If I’m wrong then hey, I’ll admit it, but then at least we’ll know lol.

I’m pretty sure it’ll be at least close. Lol.

As far as the rest of the DLC goes, like I said before, a lot of these cars have great potential for the leaderboards. The Arctic Hilux, the Jeep Trailcat, the Valiant and the Ford De Luxe Coupe (Especially the Ford!) all have the makings of a solid Leaderboard car or at least a fantastic adventure car, of which everyone is welcome to try them out. The Twin Mill I may make a second S class tune (Which is forced to RWD I think), but it’s also really good in S2 (And with only around 943 PI! The 8.4 handling is a lie! Lol).

As always, feedback is greatly appreciated. If you guys also have any questions, feel free to ask me and I’ll do my best to answer every question as soon as I can.
