When selecting the settings for Freeplay the selections for weather and time should stick and not just change to variable, which really just means wet for weather, after the first race. When you select the number of laps that stays constant through all the events but weather and time of day always change.
It is kind of ridiculous that yesterday I did 7 races in which I selected “Clear” for the weather but only the first was clear all the following 6 races were wet events which included 2 thunderstorm events at Yas Marina.
