When playing “Free play” (checked on Advance setup, but maybe also on Quick setup) and choose automatic number of lap I noticed that the first race seems have the correct number of laps, but after the first all the next race proposed keep the same laps of the first race creating some silly situation.
I played an oval (just straight for 20 laps) and the race after was le mans that was setted still to 20 laps
Try playing time limited races like 15-20 or 45-60 minutes or something. The next race will have the same time limit.
I think this an anoying bug. Every track is different 10 laps on an oval is fine, doesn’t mean I want 10 laps for everything. I mean 10 laps at the new full Nurenburg would be a nightmare.
Yes I’m aware of the time limit option instead of laps, but they should have it where if you select Automatic on the lap counter you just get each tracks typical number of laps you’d get in a stanard event. Not just let how many laps the first race has apllies to all races.
I think the people who work on the game need to see this not just other players with alternative ideas. I want it fixed.
Yeah this is annoying and why i switched permanently to timed races in FP.
Yes this happens on the quick-event side of free play as well (but I prefer the Medium race length in advanced).
I do a lot of Free Play to practice tracks and level cars, so this is a major annoyance for me.
