I think what he is trying to do is create a library containing a few photos from each photographer as a sample of their work with a link to their gallery. Say… 3 photos each W/ link.

It would be a good thing to do, but is much better implemented with Snooties gallery database. If everyone chose a single image from their galleries, they can then be turned into a banner-link instead of the standard text-link that he uses currently.

Yes, it is a good idea, though it’s been tried before, and has never had a good outcome due to a lack of people participating, or the person creating the thread not keeping it up-to-date. It would be easy to implement into Snooties gallery database, and he’s always on top of things, so I’m thinking that’s how it should be done instead of having technically two databases. (Text database and a photo database/library)

Also, another thing to consider, is the OP has only posted twice on these forums, so they will currently be under Moderation. That could be an issue, since they will be unable to edit the posts until the moderation is lifted.

Looking through the section to update the database and I stumbled upon this and just like everyone else I’m a bit stumped myself. But using a system banners would be an awesome idea! To the OP, feel free to shoot me a PM and we can talk about making a banner system. It actually is a good idea, makes the thread look a little prettier but like Hachiko said it might be a struggle with some people not being near as active as others.
