Do the event . Nothing happens. I really have to say that Turn 10 has really dropped the ball on this release. So many problems, so few solutions. I guess I am not surprised that this would be a screw up as well

Yeah it is very messy, I had to restart the game several times because the Forzathon steps didn’t continu or the reward was not given.
I had to restart the game to get the ‘rivals’ event (first one) for the Nissan to pop, but after that it went fine.
And they apparently fixed the first event in the Mustang forzathon not working -I read on reddit that it would pop if you ran a Maple Valley (short track) race with 8 opponents, on ‘above average’ difficulty. Tried that and it popped right away, but it turned out that they had apparently fixed it in the meantime.
So I have both the cars already, haven’t run the driver gear one yet.
So I completed the challenge in the morning. After the final race in Prague, the game of course crashed. When I went back, there was a trophy icon on the Forzathon tile. I clicked it, it showed the “This is Forza 7” challenge as done, but I still haven’t received the Mustang. The other two rewards I received immediately after completing the challenges.

I tried to sort by manufacture date but it’s not theire either.
I tried restarting the game several times, even rebooted the PC, nothing helped so far.

The worst thing is that Turn 10 should be apologizing to people who spent $$$ to buy an Beta version of the game. They should pay all people who are doing their QA for them.
Its like they got a whole new staff who do not understand the game, don’t do QA, and worst DON’T CARE!!!
I did get one completed and what happened shows just how screwed up they are. When I completed it there is no notification, and going to the Forzathon screen did not show completion. But several seconds after completing it my phone showed a notification that the event was completed. Hey Turn 10 don’t you think it would be good to show that in the game???
I have also found that if you reverse the driver aggressiveness to the opposite of what the UI says then the drivatars no longer block and attempt to put you off the track. Just another Turn 10 screw up.
Just so poor. Used to be a fan, now I will carefully consider spending any more $$$ with Turn 10
I have completed all the challenges for the mustang and have yet to get the car. In fact I did all the challenges twice and still nothing
Completed all challenges, got both cars and a suit, you have to run FULL CIRCUIT, same goes for Nürburgring and the rest for at least 1 lap unless 5 laps specified, i wish it specified that, but hey this whole game is like a one big lottery stand
No, you don’t. I got all of mine by running the short versions. It does require a restart of the game to register in some cases and you may also want to try rebooting the console.

Did 5 small maple valley circuits, because i’m lazy and it didn’t register, restarted the game and all, i’m on pc btw and still nada, as soon as i completed 5 laps on full circuit it went and registered it right away
same goes for Nürburgring, did 1 small gp circuit and it didn’t register, only after i completed one full circuit it did, so dunno, but it is how it is
I did run full circuit on all the challenges for the car twice, sorry I should have specified that, even did clean laps
I had no issues
i just went from one to the next checking the forzathon tab and then doing the next that was on there…no restarting nothing
sometimes the event wouldnt change so i went to the next and by the time i went back it was ready to do
And also did every track on the shortest possible layout as well
I was about 2/3 the way through forzathon challenges.Today I see Forzathon is back to “Coming Soon”
I’ve got Mustang (at least i got card of it, need to check in garage), but later i’ve completed Rival challenge, got acheivement about it, but no car… This is sad… It seems im unable to repeat, as it is completed. So probably i will not get this car?
I did the two cars ones fine, but haven’t seen either car yet. The suit one is stuck saying I’ve done 2 out of 3 autocrosses…I did about 6 in a row.
My message center also says I have 4 messages but each day when I go in there is only 1 for the drivertard credits and that’s it. I’m assuming the others are cars and forza reward credits but the tabs for those are empty.
I am in the same boat with this. Both the Mustang and Modern Astronaut suit forzathon challenges are listed as completed and I do not have access to either of the rewards. Each of the boxes for the challenges are greyed out, and I clicked on recover prize for both of them. Got nothing.
Same here, did alla the Forzathons, did get the other two rewards, got ALL 3 cheevos but NOT the mustang… been like a week ago now. sigh
So after almost a week of waiting I tried contacting xbox support with the missing Mustang issue, but they can’t do anything as it’s the Forza’s team territory. Got adviced to post on forums here… and that apparently doesn’t seem to help at all. Just great.
Does it have to be online? Or can I just create a free drive race and get the badges?

You don’t have to do online races, I did them all in free play on the day they went active. Apart from the initial problems with the mustang event every one worked, as long as I restarted the game after each race the progress was registered.
