So I completed “The Racer” forzathon for the mechanic driver gear earlier today in a public lobby and when I went back to the main menu to try and claim it, it ended up giving me an error saying that it can’t retrieve the prize and to try again later…
Which I waited until later but when I goto it, the game tells me it is completed but I didn’t receive the reward.
I thought I’d give it abit more time before making this post but it’s never taken this long for the Forzathon rewards, also i haven’t seen if it will happen with the other active Forzathons mostly because I already have those cars/I have no need for them since garage space is already an issue for me.

Sadly I have already done that plus many of the other ‘normal’ things that fix Forzathons and stuff like that.
I’ve even gone and completed the other current Forzathons to see if it would happen to re-gift it to me with another Forzathon and it didn’t.
It’s just gone and broken itself because the game thinks that I’ve done it (which I have) but it never gave the actual reward, it might have something to do with the fact that I earned it in a online drift lobby possibly?
My privacy settings are very open (apart from online status), I don’t fiddle with many settings, and it pains me to admit that BT (British Telecom) are a pretty good ISP these days.
I have no issues getting the rewards, but as I said before I had to go back into Forzathon to get these next 2 to show up.
I think you missed the part where are said it gave an error that it couldn’t receive it at this time and from my screenshots it says it’s complete but it didn’t/couldn’t give the reward.
Because when I unlocked it, I was in an online drift lobby and I saw the Forzathon thing pop up after the race so I quit the online lobby and went to the Forzathon thing back in the main menu and it tried rewarding it to me but gave the error saying it can’t be received at this time.
Receiving Forzathon rewards (with the ingame system not the achievement system) had never been an issue even while running strict privacy settings but I haven’t had those set like that since The Crew 2 came out since there was a thing with that required you to open all the stuff up pretty much.
But since making this post I went and did the other Forzathons for the cars and they both worked just fine.
Yeah sorry, I missed the being in an online lobby bit. Have you tried doing it again since the error message? I just do 1 lap with no Drivatars so it shouldn’t take long to check.
The thing is I honestly don’t know what was needed to complete it since I had pretty much just hopped on Forza in the morning and went right into a drift lobby without looking at the Forzathons since for the most part they are worthless for me to do.
I think it was to complete a race in an A class car. It wasn’t on any particular track. I just noticed from the pic that I’d done it in a Ferrari. You must have been drifting in an A class?
Well 3 week later and still no reward but it gets worse.
The Forzathon have been working since then until this weeks Forzathon, which I have managed to complete one of the tasks and am unable to claim it.
Because when I try and claim it, the game will just get stuck trying to retreive the reward and then the game crashes and when I relaunch the game it will crash on the first loading screen.
Actually I forgot to mention that as well, my game doesn’t get stuck in rivals but all of the rivals other than the class time attacks just say that there is nothing there…
