perhaps when grid 3 comes out it will have the demo derby lounge as per grid one ( i actually enjoyed the demo derby on there ) and hopefully it will take the crashers from forza to there purpose built crash fest…i doubt it tho but we can dream on
Maybe T10 could make a cheap Forza Demo Derby game, frame rate, graphics, physics could all be crappy because it would not matter. Then these trolls could just wreck each other and leave the true Forza racers alone, wish full thinking i know.
I don’t think anything that gets done is going to work better than reporting and blocking. The trollers are doing it for the attention, nothing more, nothing less. If they didn’t want the attention they wouldn’t post videos of themselves doing it so the world could see. And also the one I watched the troll was bragging about taking the leader out so he couldn’t win on the last lap. Same clip, different race, brag about blowing the first corner and taking four guys with him. So until there are all banned, or videos get blocked, it won’t get any better. But how many Gamertags can you have on one Xbox Live Gold Account? Or if the original user get blocked or banned does it lock all account associated with it? I know everyone in my family is using off of mine and there are five of us.
I wasn’t for sure on this either, that’s why I was wanting some clarification(I’m in no way, same, or form banned from FM5 or Xbox Live). I thought if get a ban from Xbox for FM5 its just for the game, with that, whats stopping someone from starting a new account and continuing trolling?
I don’t understand why people deserve to be banned for crashing into other peoples cars. That is NOT trolling to me. That’s just played the game for some fun, rather than competitively and I think is completely fine. Yes, it sucks if you’re in first and they take you out, but have a laugh, they likely just took their self out of second. Keep in mind, it is a video game and everyone has a right to play, in their own style. And having fun is what video games are all about.
It’s not the incidental contact that is getting people reported and banned… It’s the ones that purposely run people through the first corner then sit and wait a lap down to wreck more people. Everyone does have a right to play but when your version of playing is just seeing how many people you can agitate you are no longer playing Forza.
Ummmm no… u don’t even deserve a response but I will give u one… wrecking somebody on purpose is against the code of conduct on the game. This is a racing game not a wrecking game. There are lobbies for wrecking people in the tag section. The mentality to wreck the person in front of u because they are faster is the dumbest thing for somebody to do.
So u wreck somebody then they retaliate then u hit somebody else… u good sir just turned a lobby into crap. Thank u
I understand what other people are saying, especially with teams - I don’t play much Forza online, so I haven’t really ran into these problems. I would personally just leave the lobby, and move on, but to each his own. As for the mentality of wrecking the person in front of you, I believe that makes the game more interesting - if you want to ensure yourself they don’t catch back up to you, you have to get them out of your way. And by the way, if they catch-up to hit you, then you aren’t going much faster than them, are you? Also, thanks for the response, as I clearly did not deserve it
You sir need to go back and play Mario Kart, where that kind of thing is tolerated. This is Sim Racing. Have you never seen a race. This type of a**holeness would get you penalized and possibly banned from the series you are in. It is never “fun” to wreck someone, never. Not only are you messing up his race, but others as well if he is spinning and gets hit by them. So if I were to be in a lobby with you, you would get reported and blocked by me and anyone else you thought it would be “fun” to plow into.
Also what you have described as “fun” is trolling. There are thousands of videos of just that thing. So go play Tag and leave “us” to the racing. Thank you.
I do like Mario Kart and would buy it if I had a Wii-U: people take that game a lot less seriously. Also I never said I intentionally crash into other people, I’m just explaining that, that is a part of race car driving… I do agree though that the people waiting, who have been lapped, to smash your car, should not be tolerated.
Crashers don’t try to catch up first place, they wait to be lapped so they don’t have to bother trying to catch up others. If you want people to wreck you, go play Burnout, or NFS, where it’s the point of the game.
Because, except for a couple sections (Tag, etc.) it isn’t the way the game is meant to be played. Forza Motorsport is primarily a racing game, meant to be competitive, and when someone is crashing into people deliberately, they are preventing others from the fair play of racing as intended. It is poor behavior, and they’re bent on wrecking people instead of being competitive
If you run into the “teams” doing it, they’re often promoting one member while preventing all others from any chance of winning while they’re running blockades, taking turns crashing the leaders, and not even completing a single lap as they drive reverse of the course to intentionally crash people. That is not sportsmanship.
Its unfortunate that the trolls seem to now own the online side of Forza. It is a shame to have a great racing game, with the potential to race people from all corners of the planet, and restrict yourself to racing ghosts in Rivals because of the state of the hoppers.
Forza 4 was my first, and I really enjoyed the user-created lobbies, but I get jealous hearing how awesome Forza 2 online was lol.
they should give the original forzas the anniversary treatment like they do the halos. fm1-4 with all dlc in a single package would be great. fm1 and fm2 back online would be awesome. i would buy that before the master chief collection.
