That’s not the point. The point is everyone expected real Porsches in this pack but many real Porsches are left out. Instead of adding all the new super fast Porsches and also giving us classics from the 90s and more race cars, they made a copy and paste style pack. Too many cars are missing. Why should the 944 be more important than the 928 or the 90s GT3? It’s just there because it was there in Forzas before. If this wasn’t the only Porsche Pack they release, everything is cool.
Though I allready invested a lot of money, I would buy the **** out of further Porsche Packs in the future to receive the Porsche experience I hoped for.
Besides has anyone driven the 2014 911 Turbo S in cockpit view, yet? I like the details in cockpit, but the driver is messing around with his hands too much. Every 3 seconds he takes his hands of the wheel to do some nervous finger movements. In some cars he doesn’t do this, in others he does it the whole time. Hate it…
I’m not going to lie, I excited to have Porsche again but I’m a bit disappointed. Only 3 new cars? Where is the Cayman GT4, a 991 GT3 variant, a 991 race car (a 5 yr old RSR? C’mon…) the 73 RS? And do we really need the Cayenne AND Macan? I imagine EA has something to do with these cars missing. I would have rather the 356 been the Outlaw version or at least a coupe. I am looking forward to driving the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 again though. That thing is sweet!
On a side note, I was going to post a screenshot of the clearly visible but not mentioned 993 GT2 RS but I can’t figure out how to upload pics on this dang forum.
Well, I’m glad I have anxiously awaited this day for nothing. There is so much missed opportunity here it’s sickening. I knew for sure the 993 GT2 would be in considering it was in FM4. It’s a legend. But instead we’ve got a couple of SUVs and a stupid 914. There was no question in my mind that the 991 GT3 RS would be included. Heck at least the base GT3. But the best they can do is a 996 gen and the same 4.0 that was in Horizon 2? Entirely not worth $20 in my opinion. The track is about the only redeeming grace here.
One of the YouTube walkthroughs showed 22 cars (there were two 918s). Hopefully one of those spots was a placeholder for another ‘free’ car, maybe the 993.
Since there were two free cars with the FH2 Porsche expansion, I imagine we’ll see the same here. The inclusion of the 718 RS60 further confirms my suspicion that we’ll see one of the new 718 Boxster/Caymans in the near future, as that would fit with the Porsche marketing of the new models.
Porsche has too many good cars to even list here. Yeah of course they opened up with the same cars as before becauseif they didn’t then they’d be missing and people would be asking about them I’m just excited that it finally came out.
There was no download this morning. I turned off the Box and am at work. When I get home I expect it will be there. Or else.
