When you first loaded the game up after purchasing the pack you should have seen a message indicating that all the Porsche models were being added to your garage automatically for free. Additional models costs credits or tokens, so if you skipped your garage and went straight to Buy Cars maybe that’s what you’re seeing.

Yes another $20 I get to spend. $60 for the game $30 for car pass $20 for VIP, $20 for Porsche expansion.

What I think is DUMB is the amount of people that are complaining about having to pay for the Porsche Expansion if the had bought the Ultimate Edition. It was PLAINLY stated what was contained in the Ultimate Edition and guess what? The PEP is not in said description. READ PEOPLE !!

The pack itself is good enough. Nice to see early models like the 356 and 550. 718 is a pretty nice surprise too but…WHERE IS MY 917K?
Seriously guys. I mean, I could have done without some of them but you can’t miss the fastest car at Le mans. The crazy looking, amazingly powerful and iconic 917K! With the duck tail, the gulf livery and the crazy aerodynamics. A car so fast they had to change regulations. A car that is part of automotive and racing legends of all times!
Celebrate the 60 years anniversary of such an iconic brand without one of its highest achievements is kind of a bummer to me.
I’m happy I can now play with these old cars I love so much but I can’t help but feeling disappointed you guys didn’t include such an obvious addition.
Any 917k fan out there?

What galls me, other than the whiny whiners whining of course, is how anyone who considers themselves a fan of cars, racing, etc. – i.e., someone who buys a game like Forza, – can say without a hint of shame/embarrassment that they are “not really fans of Porsche.”

I do love cars and of course I do love Porsche and I’m happy they are back in Forza 6.
It seems that EA still has its hands on them so before people complain
why this and that Porsche is not in, maybe consider that EA might have blocked some.
Maybe this also counts for my beloved 993 GT2.
But I would never think T10 does it to piss us off.
935 (moby dick) and 917 would have been awesome bur for now I’m haply about
the 918, 959, Carrera GT and stuff and still have hopes for the 993.

I had always assumed that this was the case; that EA have some cars on lockdown.
The 917k for example is possibly the most iconic Le Mans racer of all time and yet it’s never been in Forza. Surely this can’t be out of choice by Turn 10
Already at 10.000 sales after a day, impressive. If you want to check for yourself, look at the D class leaderboard for VIR Full. It’s the third race in the DLC and a good indicator for sales.

Uhm 10K after a day isn’t that impressive IMO, especially when there are over 1 million copies sold of FM6. It means 1% of FM6 owners bought the expansion on day one. But anyway, it’s just the first day also. But Turn 10 expansions don’t seem to sell that well. I did the same in Horizon last summer, compare one of the speed camera leaderboards just outside the main festival area and then compare that with one just outside the main area of the storm island festival area. The first speed camera was millions, the second was just in the hundred thousands. When less than 10% of main game owners buy an expansion I don’t call that a success.
But off all 3 expansions (Storm Island, FH2 Porsche & FM6 Porsche) I like FM6 Porsche the most. It feels most polished as well with good attention to minor things as well (new menu music, new narrator voices, …).

I wasn’t going to buy this as I’m almost done with Forza Motorsport 6 but a friend gave me a code today so I figured I’d make the most of it.
There’s probably only 4 or 5 Porsches that I’m interested in (the 919, 550, 962 and 914) but I do like the narrated Single Player campaign and how that’s laid out. I think that’s as much a selling point as the cars.
VIR is a fun track to drive on; as mentioned previously I don’t agree with it being paywalled, but a new track is a new track at least.
For those interested in the Forest Fire Achievement, you’ll need to do it at X/999 unless you’re capable of hitting Top 10s at P/998. I’ve put together a Hotlap video which I can share tomorrow.

Ok so all you people worried that Turn 19 paid so much for porsche licenses and needs to make money blah blah blah can stop worrying about them. Now if only they showed they cared about their valuable customers that got them there. Ie. Give back some perks
there is an even faster way of doing it, just set up a custom online lobby, set the game time to end in 30 seconds, and boom when the game ends, your lap time is 30 seconds and you get the achievement

For Forest Fire I used Raceboy77s tune on the Lotus F1 car. I hate the gearbox lol but the handling was pretty good.

This is some amazing driving right there. I used the MP4 today also on VIR Full but wasn’t anywhere near this speed of 1:28. Nice driving !!!
Confirm that your download queue isn’t showing anything remaining, and that the console shows you did indeed install it. Then try a full power cycle reboot.
