Going by what was seen in the Developers_Direct, I would have to go with the GR Yaris. Not painfully slow, but thankfully not a pre-tuned C8 Corvette either. They showed a red GR Yaris with your character leaning against it in reference to the introductory shot of your character with the red VW Corrado from FH1. Even though they also showed a red FL5 Type R in a Corrado-like cutscene as well, I do not think that will be the starter car since that is an A-class vehicle while the GR Yaris is in B-class.

The Nissan Silvia S13 and the Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 are good choices for starter Cars, but Playground should’ve picked a Japanese Pickup or 4x4 instead of the GMC Jimmy.
Totally agree with pickup truck/4x4 choice I’m going to wishful thinking and say that may change come launch day especially since it’s 35 days till the premium edition release but realistically probably not but only time will tell
Also sucks that this another case of us getting all three cars as opposed to only one, so the choice is ultimately rather pointlessly.

Sell the other 2?
Not the point.
Your literally complaining for the sake of complaining on this. Who actually really cares that you get all 3 at the start?
I just preferred it when you only got one car to start with. It made your first choice more meaningful. And I didn’t elaborate on this further in my original reply because it was two o’clock in the morning my time, but I do feel like its worth pointing out that you can’t really sell the other two starter cars because, based on the preview build, the opening hour is framed around them. It’s an intentional gameplay design. It’s just not one I agree with.
It was
I don’t see an issue with getting 3 very basic / slow starter cars. As Forza Horizon series has developed so to has the racing championship styles. Road racing, circuit, offroad, rally etc. And the way that i think they are planning to structure progression - i think it is a good thing that we get 3 cheap cars that are able to participate in potentially the very few starting qualifiers required to achieve your first wrist band. Its not like they are throwing supercars at us instantly.
Why did they put such a very American covered pickup truck as the starter car in Japan? They should replace the GMC Jimmy with something more Japanese, like the Toyota FJ40.
I hope I don’t start up, check my messages, and get 3 bugattis when I start the game.
I’m pretty sure we’d all be embarrassed to start in a Hyundai Coupe. Maybe a standard civic?
