Forza Horizon 6 starter car's

For FH6 our starter car’s should be 1970’s-1990’s Honda,Subaru, Suzuki (if possible),Toyota, Mitsubishi, Isuzu (again if possible),Mazda and etc and vice-versa either that or go back to the Forza Horizon 1 formula

I know this is the third time I’ve brought this car up, but I would like the player to start off in a Toyota Crown Comfort TRD GT-Z, and after completing their first race with it, the player then gets the choice to pick their second car: a second generation Toyota GR86, a second generation Subaru BRZ (kind of slim pickings when it comes to contemporary entry level sports cars), or some kind of ND Mazda MX-5 (Standard, RF, or Spirit Racing 12R).

If you want to go a little higher in the performance bracket, having the choice of either a current gen Honda Civic Type R, a Hyundai Elantra N, or the Toyota GR Corolla is not a bad route to go either.

Also, taking a page out of the book of @R3L04D, you don’t get all three. You just get the one you picked.

This I can agree with as well

Are we posting the starter cars we want, or the ones we are guessing, because my answer is wildly different.

I don’t think they will stick exclusively to the host country for the starter car. They sure didn’t in 4, and the UK has some excellent starter options. It was just the Focus, which is listed under USA (the other two were the Audi TT and the pre-tuned Camaro).

Starter cars I want: Knowing it’s Japan my answer is slightly different than before we know the location (I honestly did not think Japan would happen this time). I’m going to say Toyota Corolla SR5, a Clio of some variety, and the 2+2 fastback Mustang. All three are cars that start fairly humble but can easily become special, and I think having one option from Asia, Europe, and America each gives us a good launching point into a Forza game for all.

My guesses though? Forza Horizon is a game that’s thrown out the humble beginnings trope and let you have some higher level cars right off the bat. So my guesses are the Mustang Dark Horse, something as of yet unrevealed to the real world from Europe (I’m thinking a new M series), and a pre-souped up RX-7, with bodykit and all.

Well my post is more of what I’m hoping and suggesting but it can also be everyone’s wish list, ideas, and suggestions all into 1 and also they’ll probably will give us everything right at the start but then again since it’s Japan they’ll probably have to either go with what I suggested or similar to it since Japan is strict when it comes to video games but we’ll find out probably at the Developer’s Direct in January 2026

Ford Mustang GT S650

Subaru WRX '22

Honda Civic Type-R FL5

Not really too bothered about the car manufacturers I just don’t want to be just given the cars. There should be a grind aspect to them. Drive one for a while and get to know it.

It’s like getting a car to level 50 in Motorsport you get to know it, how it moves and if you’re a tuner get to admire your handy work while mashing opponents.

If as it seems like Suzuki are getting licensed, and the game has some form of progression like the Hot Wheels DLC had, so you’re starting in C or D-Class cars, you’d think one of theirs would be one.

If PG are having to keep all of them involved and onside, I could see them putting one from each of the big Japanese brands cars in, so maybe there will be up to five to choose one from.

I could swear it was a Charger…

Even considering that, I still have a hard time seeing all three cars from one country. FH5 did have the Corvette, Bronco, and GR supra, so it’s not entirely out of the question. Still I’d bet on just 2/3 at most.

I hope they bring back progression like it existed in previous iterations as well, but it’s a good bet that’s not happening and we’re getting all three cars.

If it is more like 5’s, then I’d probably replace my Dark Horse guess with either a Toyota truck or a Honda Pilot. All three starter cars in 5 were new to Forza, so new to Forza cars are definitely on the table.

That does solidify my RX-7 guess though if that’s the case. I have a hard time seeing them not including something universally iconically Japanese in the starter cars, and for most people, that means a 90’s or 2000’s souped-up street racer. I really don’t see it being a kei car or truck (not universally recognized enough). The RX-7 fits the bill perfectly in my mind. It’s instantly recognizable without being too obvious of a choice (like a Supra RZ or a Skyline). I would have said a Silvia but it’s been done already in 3.

Still I got a gut feeling about the other car being a new European car. A supercar is definitely on the table, but I’m thinking a high-end/luxury daily from the likes of BMW or Mercedes.

I’m not 100% sure either way. I’m sure the internet has the answer to this question. I remember it was pre-tuned with big thick tires on the back and it was orange.

I picked the TT and regretted it. I wanted the safety pick, but I should have done the Focus. Should have done the Lancia for the second (dirt focused) pick as well but I chickened out and got the Subaru.

Mind you that’s easy to say now considering I’m a much better driver than I was when 4 launched. Only other racing game I’d played in the previous decade was FH3. Meanwhile, when FH5 launched, I was consistently ranked in the top 100 in a few racing games, most notably Dirt Rally 2.0. Some stuff happened between those two launches.

It’s a bit off topic, but it’s a topic-adjacent question: what were people’s picks in previous Horizon games. I picked the Shelby GT350R for 3, which is when I got into the series.

Focus RS and 037 in FH4

GT350R in FH3

Camaro SS in FH2

I know just forgot the real name of the cars thanks for reminding me.

i want to start with a cheap second hand car like a 1988 Honda Civic, for example and race to build it.

i hope that there ll be a beter story line in fh6.

since fh1 i didnt like the starter cars
