forza Horizon 4 game completely frozen after completing the first cross country race

the game is stuck in the black screen with the loading circle at one dot and FPS stuck at 75 FPS and GPU usage stuck at 99%

I have tried restarting the game, rebooting my PC and reinstalling the game and it yelds the same result

Edit: Benchmark mode works but loading into the main game doesn’t

I’m having the same issue except it happened when the game was trying to transition from winter to spring, I even ran benchmark mode and still nada. Screenshot looks the same as yours https://puu.sh/BCqkV.png

I installed and ran the Netflix app and used the powershell to “disable development mode.”
