i think FH4 needs advanced tuning. As in real life tuning, engine timing adjustment, adjustable fuel pump flow rate, real life nitrous setups, turbo boost controller and also different turbo sizes within each spec (like street turbo has 3 options small med large etc). Superchargers need to have adjustable belt ratios so we can overrun them for nice idles and insane boost. Also a blowout overboost plate would be a nice feature. Also, Variable valve timing engines need to actually perform and sound like they should do. also high lift and long duration cams need to alter the sound as they would in real life and different turbo wastegates need to be a modification in the upgrades section. Plus neon underglow and more body kits. Think how NFS carbon had modifiable bumpers and parts, that was sweet.
There could also be concequences of poor tuning like if you ran an engine lean it would bend a rod and stop moving and youd have to return to garage etc.
Would be cool to see more aftermarket part manufacturers like exhaust companies where the exhaust changes the sound as it would in real life.
The sounds of the cars need to be improved a lot. and get rid of the 6.5L V12 that thing sounds awful and is in too many cars.
Also some real life crate engines would be cool, LSX etc
1- Color the windows of the car with all directions 2- The option to slide the camera is like most games

I play on a 65ā TV and sit about 4 meters away from my TV. In FH2 I can very easily read all the text on the screen (like car stats) since the fonts are big. In FH3 I need to lean forward to be able to read that small text.
I hope FH4 will use a font size somewhere in between FH2 and FH3 since FH2 was maybe a bit too big, but FH3 was a bit too small.
My wish list is very simple, make Forza Horizon 4 better than Forza Horizon 3. I know that sounded stupid, but you know how developers can messed up and has messed up a good thing.
I played FM7 with the last FM4 I played back in the 360 since I went exclusively to PC. Frankly I find 7 to be bad. I didnāt have any fun chasing whatever that card system, especially since Iām a bad driver, I canāt get some of the perfect turn achievement. I dumped Gran Turismo because of the ludicrous perfection requirement for some of the license achievement. I exclusively bought the original XBOX because of FM alone. I bought the 360 for FM sequels. Iām not going to buy the XBOX One for FM7. What Iād bought the XBOX One though is for Forza Horizon 3. I bought the game on Windows 10, had a FREAKING GOOD TIME. Bought the expansions, bought the car packs, played the multiplayer endlessly, and Iām still playing the game⦠Not so much for FM7.
So please, please, please Turn10, donāt mess with greatness except for making it better. FH3 is absolute perfection for me. If you canāt make additional gameplay or a better system, Iād suffice for the exact same gameplay on different location⦠Frame dips and all.
ok so people miss interpreted what i mean with my last post. What i meant with i want the lambos to all be free is i dont want them to be in dlcās. Im perfectly fine with having to actually race to be able to afford the cars. Because then there would be no point of racing because everyone would be able to get whatever car they want when ever they want. But also, please consider putting in certain lamborghinis like the lamborghini huracan performante, hurcan lp 580-2, adventador s. and also try and add in actual part companies like VF-ENGINEERING, ARMYTRIX, BORLA, Magnaflow, Flowmaster, IPE exhaust, allow for e-85 fuel tunability, put in prochargers, superchargers, allow for more visual customization like exhaus placement, and also allow for door openings when free roaming. Especially letting the hood open. And lastly, try to allow for interior customization.
Please, could you guys turn lights into a option, inside and out of the car in FH4.
I love everything in the game, you guys have been doing a great work with the game, but i think this is not a far option, other games less meticulous have it. thatās my only wish for FH4, i know you guys will surprise me again with everything else.
Okay, so I just had a wild idea that might beat NFS Paybackās customization in general. The wild idea is, as the title says, a bodykit editor. So, how would it work? Simpler than you might think. Itād work similar to Automationās body editor, having different sets of grills, lights, and etc. Or you could use different two-dimensional shapes, and drag itās vertexes how you want it to, for example, you could have an BMW E60 M5, and put an F82 M4ās bumper design on it, similar to the Duke Design E92 M3, use the 911 GT2 RSā (991.2) lights on a 911 (991.1) to do a āfaceliftā, or put modern elements on a classic car or you could make a bumper design from scratch, if you really wanted to. But itās not limited to bumpers. You could have 3 different layers: grills, lights and glass, main body, and over-body (canards, diffusers, splitters, over-fenders, wings). You could also hover around the car to preview it, recess grills or vents, expand/widen parts, and even create your own rims, or put other carsā rims. I think a fair price for a custom bodykit would be 15k-25k Credits. I hope you, reader, have understood everything I just said, because now Iāll move on to improvements that could be made to Forzaās livery editor. Maybe the guys over at Forza should add more vinyls and sponsors (maybe even car-specific presets, i.e. the Ferrari FXX Kās decal set), use a writing system for letters, like NFS:PB and GT S does, and have more complex preset vinyls, like racecar number tags so that less experienced players, like myself can make decent liveries, because the system is a bit too complicated for everyone who isnāt a livery god. So, those are the improvements I want to see on FH4. Come on, Team Forza, I believe that you guys can beat NFS and GT.
Improve Drivatars, turn off rubberbanding. When you set to āNew Racerā, then the Drivatars should drive as such and not like an expert
Return of SS badges on all Chevy/Holden/etc. cars (missing badges are whack, every other game has them without issue, so itās not those companies that requested it, stop lying)
Make the cars in house, no out sourcing car models (Forza 7 car visual glitches are at their highest)
No pre-order non-sense (special car for GameStop, special car for MS store, special car for digital, etc)
Man, a lot of these write ups are awesome while some just seem very discombobulated individuals.
This is only the start of horizon, I really hope they continue the push towards the TDU genre. For those who think it is just a re-skinā¦let me see you buy a property in any of the precious horizons.
The only addition to my post that I have is this:
If someone is harassing you *EX ramming your car constantly- give us the ability to go passive to avoid the annoyance.
- More āRealā body kits
The Forza series has lost a lot of body kits since FM4. This makes it difficult to create unique and creative cars of myself. And the body kit of FM7 Forza Edition was not āgood designā. Body kits of MX-5 FE and 97 Civic FE arenāt cool.
The community is want for a cool reality body kit. BN Sports, Veilside, Abflug, Varis, Hamann, Mansory, RK Sport, Kaminari ⦠many brands design the best body kits. The license may be expensive. However, this is one of the features that Forza is inferior to rivals like NFS.
- More rims
You added a lot of rim with FM3. well done! However, the brand and design of the rim was biased. Letās increase variations more on FH4.
JDM like RAYS and Enkei, wire wheels like Dayton, off road styles like KMC and Tuff, and competition styles like Speedline, BBS, OZ Racing.
These rims will give the creative car to every user!
- Isle of Mann Expansion
Letās add one of the most dangerous circuits in the world that is a sacred site of motorcycle.
We donāt have a motorcycle, but we can drive the same course with a 200 mph supercar.
- āSpecialty dealerā sells really special car only
I hate the SD system. However, this system can coexist well with the FH4.
Perhaps some cars will be available by unlocking in career mode. These cars are unlocked only once. It canāt be purchased at the auto show.
However, Some players may wish to own multiple different upgrades, different paint jobs, different body kits and rims.
In FH3, these cars were purchased with AH. However, there are facts that some players abused this system, monopolizing cars, and increasing prices.
So letās use a specialty dealer as a system to sell only these special cars. We only buy unlocked cars in carrier mode, and the lineup will change every season. The new SD doesnāt deprive Fiesta or Golf from you.
And this system can coexist with AH.
You can earn profits by selling a special car that you sell only in winter, in the summer.
Also, players who have cleared careers quickly will be able to gain similar benefits by selling special cars to slower players.
Generic rear diffusers and wings like in the first Forza game.
Either full 900 degree wheel animations, or atleast the option to remove the hands model and have the steering wheel motion be 1:1 .
Car showrooms - Buying everything from one place is boring. Music festival is a weird setting for buying and tuning cars anyway. Narrower roads - By making some of the roads narrower would bring more variation and realism for those who want it. Hillclimb course - Sort of like Goodwood Festival of Speed Hillclimb.
Please, for the love of all that is holy and sacred, have convertible roofs! Iāve been asking for it since the first Horizon, and at this point Iād settle for buyable soft/hardtops as a body modification Just like the Abarth 595 in Horizon 1.
Now that we have seasons, I donāt want to drive my Ferrari 250 California with the roof down during a nighttime blizzard or tropical thunderstorm.
First of all, I would like to say that what I have seen so far made me super excited. I love the location and announced features.
Here are some ideas and suggestions:
1. Garage management
I love the new housing feature. It would be nice to have a garage at each location and manage the cars. Include a garage customization and Forza vista/photo mode.
2. Convertible roof animation / hardtop option
No one likes to cruise in the rain or snow with their top down.
3. Light control, wing-control and indicators
Would be a fun little realistic feature. Also good for photographing etc.
4. Realistic car pricing
Make it worth to save money for your favorite hyper or rare classic car
5. Traffic management
Personally, I like to drive with realistic traffic and I know others like to turn off all the traffic. (some 90s kids may remember this feature from Midtown madness 1&2)
6. Watches
The automotive industry and watch brands go hand in hand for decades. There is advanced character customization. So, it would be nice to select/buy a nice watch as well. Maybe T10 can team up with some nice brands such as IWC, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Breitling, Omega, Rolex, Tag Heuer etc.
7.Exploration
Make the map as big as possible and include secrets and complicated easter eggs
8 More POV steering wheel lock/better wheel animation in first-person
looks more realistic plus, it makes me, others and the large drift community very happy.
Allow players the freedom to choose the season during single player free roam.
Customizable interior: changing colors and materials, removing passenger seats with race-level weight reduction upgrades
Customizable brake caliper color
Vinyls on windows
Cars with additional headlights should allow the driver to see farther in the dark
Diffuser upgrades
HUGE chassis-mounted wing upgrades
If a car has a GT3, GTE, GT500, etc. or other racing version of it in FM7, please let us use the latterās likeness as a body kit with adjustable aero, you already scanned it, might as well make use of it!
Car soccer (or āfootballā as they call it in Britain)
Being able to turn off the music, as in completely, not just the radio but also the noise coming from speakers near the starting line, etc. (Iām not sure if I have to turn on some āstreaming modeā the good folks at Playground made or something like that, some clarification would be nice, anyway think of the streamers not wanting copyright issues with the songs you licensedā¦)
A couple of fun/silly achievement ideas;
George - hit a certain number of trees by accident. (might be a licensing issue though)
Houdini - finish a race without hitting anything, gives 5G but is repeatable which provides a simple reward for good driving whilst not affecting race result.
