Purchased horizon 3 car pass. I am missing the alpine star and smoking tire car sets.
I contacted xbox one support and have tried all their suggestions including
1- checking managed games to see if the car sets were there to download. They were not
2- checked the autoshow to see if the cars were there and usable - they were not
3- i was told the car sets are not connected to game progress so they should be available immediately after purchase
4-they are not in the store to be downloaded with repurchasing them
5- can not purchase them with in game currency
6-uninstall/reinstall did not work
7- support refunded the original purchase and I re-purchased the game but the same car sets (alpine star and smoking tires) are still not there
Are you doing a hard reset/ cold boot of your console AFTER everything is downloaded and installed in full
Also is there anything there when you go to manage game for fh3 in the waiting to install section
The car pass needs to be installed …with the car pass the individual car packs dont all get installed…they are in the content updates when the car packs are released
Have you gone into the autoshow and tried to get them from the dlc tab for the relevant car packs
Mine come up as not purchased for those 2 car packs but i was still able to just go to the autoshow dlc tab and collect them …this is the way the car pass works
Just go to the dlc tab within the Autoshow ( not marketplace) and get the cars
I have this issue too.
I’ve had the car pass since day 1.
I’ve had the content downloaded since each pack released. I’ve even shared liveries for some of the cars. Aston Vulcan, '98 Silvia, '17 Acura NSX.
But suddenly I can’t use them and am prompted to buy the packs again.
Went through support as OP did but still getting same message.
Have you gone into manage game for fh3 and checked that everything is installed and nothing is in the waiting to install section
Some peoples dlc has randomly uninstalled
I have the same problem I have been on the phone with Xbox support for 3 days and they say it is an issue with the game and they are trying to fix I have had the car pass since October 11th and I have gotten all cars and then all of a sudden the alpine star and the smoking tire car packs don’t work
Had this issue earlier in the month. Ended up having to delete the game and re-download the game + the car packs. Everything since then has been working. Tip: Do this before going to bed/work/school/etc.
Mine also show that I haven’t purchased those 2 packs in the Windows store. In game under the DLC section the packs show as not owned, but if I click on the pack, each car shows “purchased”. All the cars are in my garage and I have no problem using them so I guess it doesn’t matter. I had the same problem on the xbox as well with Horizon 2. Various packs showed that I didn’t own them in the store, but I could still use them in game. (The two packs also show as unowned on my Xbox as well as the PC)
I just purchased the Car Pass, when accessing the dlc from within the Autoshow it shows that all car packs have been purchased except for Alpinestars and The Smoking Tire Car Pack, both of these car packs are requesting me to pay for each of the seven cars in each pack. When I installed the Car Pass it changed the other four car packs to owned in the Microsoft store and each car pack was installed manually. This seems to contradict the following quote from above.

I have tried doing a hard reset/ cold boot on the console AFTER everything is downloaded and installed in full, I have also verified that there is nothing waiting to install within the manage game section.
