FORZA HORIZON 2 (XBOX 360) - IN-GAME DISCOUNTS ON UPGRADES NOT WORKING

Hi There,

I was recently playing horizon 2 on my xbox 360. I have managed to ‘knock down’ all the discount signs reaching 100% on upgrades however it doesn’t work. I’ve been in touch with xbox support who can’t seem to find what the issue is and are surprised as much as I am as to why this issue has occurred. I would like to know how this issue can be resolved.

The discount signs are for fast travel. The only part discounts available on Horizon 2 on the 360 is through perk selection and it is not going to get you close to 100% discount.

I would like a bigger discount lol. I think it’s 10%, spend around 100k per car, sometimes more or less depending. Not too bad to make the cr.

There are two types on boards you have to knock down in the game - green CR boards, which give you CRs and Yellow Boards that have a lighting bolt on them which are discounts on upgrades - each discount board you smash is worth 2% on upgrades - I had knocked down 35 boards meaning I had 70% on upgrades - this worked until I knocked down all the boards (50 in total) and reached 100%. But now the discount doesn’t work at all. Not even 70%!

So clearly there is a in-game error…

As r00fus1337 said, the yellow signs are for the fast travel perk you unlock. When you get them all you can fast travel anywhere for free. The only upgrade discount is under the perks, for 10% or so =) There may have been an in game error idk lol. Have you unlocked the fast travel anywhere perk and looked at the price for it?

Please see the links below. I am not the only person who has posted this issue on this forum. I brought this game the week it came out and what I think has happened is a feature reduction to try and get people to upgrade to an xbox 1 and buy the game again.

I can understand this is an in-game discount issue but at the end of the day an Xbox game is a product sold by a business for actual money so it should work as advertised.

Please also read the following, also posted on this forum, which will surprise you that game developers can just change things when they feel like it…
