The UK release date was also confirmed at an interview by Ralph at Gamescom. The reason? Purely because games traditionally release in the UK on Fridays. Makes things easier for retailers or something.
Don’t you wish they gave you such direct answers in interviews? 
Just seen the game is not out in Britain until the 3rd of Oct, Horrible news thought we were getting it the same time as the US

It’s funny because it’s produced here in the uk and our games will just be sat there for 3 days whilst the Americans get a 3 day head start
I Wonder why it’s getting released later but anyway your not the only one getting a late start I’m not going to be in the us when it gets released it in away its good becuse most of the barn finds and stuff like that will be found

Don’t know if this was already brought up by someone, but what’s the deal with cars opening and closing the doors as seen in the first trailer or in the pic below? Is It a game feature, maybe only available in certain situations like car meets?
What are your thoughts? I’d love to do that for some cool shots (while not being restricted to the Forzavista “room”)
It was just a showcase for the trailer, otherwise we would have seen it during gameplay

The few days difference I don’t mind but the fact that just over a month to go and nothing has been announced or even said about the 360 version, it seems they are happy to take our money but treat us 360 owners like second class citizens because we haven’t got £400 to throw at a Xbox One.
I will still be getting Horizon 2 as I preordered as soon as it was announced as I’m still playing the 1st every day as its a perfect driving game but just wish some info any info would be announced as 360 owners are still paying hard cash for the game and not getting it for free.
I don’t expect graphics improvements from 1 or drivatars or “dynamic” weather but I still expect the game will be better than 1 and it is the only new game I have brought since Dead rising 2.
No one has posted it here, and some people only check the WWKSF thread so… the Horizon 2 demo for Xbox One has been announced! and also the achievements!
-The demo is coming Sept 16
-Demo not for 360
-The achievements are for Xbox One, they made that very clear
-The wristband order is Yellow, Green, Pink, Purple, Gold
-When you take photos of cars (when you take 100 it is an achievement also) it is for “Horizon Promo” (this makes me happy because the festival seems more alive now)

I don’t think it’s those five wristbands. I believe that they just skipped the Blue and Orange wristband achievements to stay at the 1000 Gamerscore mark.
Plus there’s doubtlessly your starting colour wristband, which is unlikely going to have an achievement.

Look’s like the music will be getting turned off for this one. Music for every taste? No, Don’t get me wrong, The Clash, Jane’s Addiction, Royal Blood and maybe one or two others are good but there’s not real metal. Apart from that this game can not come soon enough, can’t wait.
awesome there’s more stations and songs but as a guy that loves heavy metal this is very underwhelming. classical music in a racing game but not rap or very driven metal songs? For 7 stations and so many songs they sure didn’t diverse the styles very much. It’s still dance and underground… oh well, i got used to 1’s soundtrack and found a few good songs
