Issues I’ve seen so far in Storm Island:
- “You’ve leveled up” + notification no longer pop-ups
- Achievements don’t pop-up, but if you check your achievements you do get them
- Subaru Legacy has 6 hoods, which 4 are duplicates with more weight stats

Ok, I really hope that someone in the main game company reads this because I need some help from the Forza Horizon 2 game creators, or who ever it is that is behind the DLC stuff. When I purchased the game earlier in the year I payed for the VIP edition too where I was supposed too get all of the DLC that was too be released with the game, but now when I am playing the game and try and download the Storm Island Expansion Pack it is telling me that I need too pay $19.99 for the DLC. I am just so aggravated about this. I payed over $80 for this game and now it is telling me that I have too pay $20 more for some DLC that was supposed too be included in the VIP Edition that I purchased. So if someone could please explain too me what is going on and why it is asking me too pay for this DLC, and I am going too go ahead and save the time for when it happens on the next DLC if it’s going too ask me too pay for it as well? If I payed for the VIP Edition, then why aren’t I getting the VIP DLC’s? I was on the phone with XBox for about two hours today and they could never get anything figured out, they gave me this site, so that is why I am posting this message. i have the same sort of problem but if i start the game i go to the storm island area soon as it loads up but it wont work the car is in colour but the rest of map is grey/ black and white i cant move or do anything then after a little pause and it freezes and does nothing it then trows me out of the game completely to the xbox one dashboard it does this everytime i try to load the game i looked on here but seems there are no answers or were ignored if i uninstall the content pack the game works fine again then i download again and it freezes and wont let me go on i have the vip pass and car pass and have for all the forza’s not had this before please sort this out so can enjoy the game again

The main issue I’m having is that after collecting all reward boards on SI I am still being charged for upgrades. Is it just big discounts once smashed them all.? Or 100% free. I’m sure was 100% free.
Also the rewards not showing when levelled up is only issues I’ve had since downloading. 
loving storm island so far. Keep up the good work turn 10 / playground games.
So,here we are and i’m reaching my limit with this developer not giving us answers to specific problems…
Car meets never unlocked(i didn’t even know they existed) until a friend of mine started talking about them one night in a party.At this point i had completed the 1st championship and have a very good collection of cars and $ that I didn’t want to delete my save and start over as he said car meets were also kind of boring.But now this new add on pack is released and i buy it with my VIP Discount only to find out that I can’t play it because I have to go to a stupid car meet to get to the island apparently…What do I need to do is what I ask of the people who made this game. I have already
1: Completed every race at NICE
2: Deleted and reinstalled the game and DLC 3 times
3: Hard reset my xbox countless times
Same problem here, car meets never unlocked… Did everything you did, except countless reinstalling.
I’m also a disappointed VIP user, not being able to access the DLC at all…

Same Problems ! Storm Island DLC crashes/freeze Game !!!
Same problem. Game freezes when entering Storm Island. And crashes when leaving the Hubs. Not at the Horizon Festival Hub but all the others.

Minor issue compared to others but I’ve been getting a sound freeze playing storm island. Usually happens during a race. If I endure the sound bug and finish the race then it freezes my game when I try to save.
To tag on to this thread, I and several others lost all of their progress of the game due to the storm island update. Starting the game up, we get an extensive “syncing of data” and when finally done, all progress from the game is gone. Anyone have any ideas for curing this ridiculous problem? Microsoft had no helpful ideas by the way…thanks guys
I bought the content yesterday. I was able to get to the island and drive around for a bit, but I couldn’t take pictures of other cars. I left the game and my son played on his account with no difficulties.
I went to play today and I would get to the island, but it would freeze as soon as I got on the island. The sound would skip and eventually I would be booted back to the Xbox One Home Screen.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the update. I’ve done a full reset of the Xbox One, including disconnecting the power.
I do not appear to have lost the ability to do anything else in FH2. I ran the race against the cargo plane as a test and that worked fine. It’s just freezing up when I get to Storm Island.
Very frustrating.

Seems to be one major sound bug in Storm Island that cause various problems, I get cracking sounds every now and then, I’ve even had a total freeze caused by this bug that required me to cold boot xbox to get it to work again.
i had the same problem with storm island crashing i never was able to play it so i rang microsoft and got a refund
Storm Island broke my achievements progress from the main game… Stone Cold Skiller is showing 11% when I have almost all perks unlocked, I had tens of Playground Games and other multiplayer events completed and now it’s just 1 and 7 according to the achievement tracker etc. What’s going on?

Ever since i bought storm island my game has been freezing every time, ive tried everything from re installing to resetting my system , nothing works, becoming really disapointed with this game, and X1 consul in general
Slowly starting to LOSE IT!!! Tried uninstalling the lot which didn’t work, no marker for SI or Car Meets. I’m buggered… the only way to contact PG is to tweet them. Guess I’m gonna have to.

I downloaded the DLC Wednesday 12/17/2014 on my profile zPrinceOfGotham. Next day when I got in from work. Turned the game on anxious to play the new expansion only to find that about 15 minutes into playing the game froze up and I was kicked out of Forza Horizon 2 completely and back to my Xbox One home screen. This happened 3 times. I called Xbox support and they took me through some trouble shooting tactics over the next 2 days to try to correct the problem, i.e., unplug power cord from back of console and wall outlet, plug back in and turn on console. DIDN’T WORK! Hold power button to turn off console then turn back on. DIDN’T WORK! Deleted and reinstalled the game 3 times. DIDN’T WORK! Uninstalled and reinstalled Storm Island 3 times. STILL DIDN’T WORK! So Saturday night I decided to create a new profile to see if the new one would experience the same issues sense Xbox support was telling me it was a game disc issue. TAHDAH!!! Under the new profile Forza Horizon 2 and the Storm Island expansion are running flawlessly. My only issue now is I am basically having to start the game all over again without my cars, my money and my XP. I know what I’m about to ask might sound a bit selfish but I played long and hard to earn those cars, money and XP. Could someone with Forza support contact me via email please and let me know if you can transfer my money, cars and XP to my new profile? Please? My email is [Mod Edit - D]. The same thing is happening to me. I can’t play storm island. But I heard that you guys sent a code to a you tuber named vintage beef and he got it for free. Maybe you can send us all codes since we already paid for the dlc please email me the code of you can. And somebody please read this because I bought this twice thinking the first time was a bug but the second time it still didn’t work. Please help
