Forza Horizon 2 or 3 for Nintendo Switch 2?

I played all the Forza Horizon titles on PC and Xbox, so it’s not as if I were desperate for it. But since Microsoft is eager to get as many former exclusive titles to other platforms as possible, why not take an older Forza Horizon to switch 2? Imho FH2 and 3 were a bit better than 4 (due to Britain being not so exciting exept for the seasons), so I think they would make great additions to Switch 2’s library.

Of course, this would mean that car licenses would need to be refreshed and a few adaptations would need to be made, but I think it would turn out worthwhile. The typical Nintendo audience never had a game even remotely similar to FH. Racing games in general are a weak spot of the switch portfolio.

By the numbers, Switch 2 in docked mode is roughly about three times as powerful as a vanilla Xbox One (VCR Model) and even in mobile mode a bit stronger. And it also has a more modern chipset plus way more RAM. So I think hardware is not an issue aside from missing analogue triggers on the controller. Playground Games could, however, make sure to support the Gamecube controller which has analogue triggers.

Whaddoyathink?

There is absolutely no way that’s gonna happen.

I mean apart from the licensing making this impossible, they would probably still not do that, because they just announced their own version of the switch, the Xbox Ally X, and yes, I’m pretty sure all future Forza games and also the current two will be at some point available on it.

I think those are all EOL with licenses long expired games.
