The multiplayer experience have been awful so far. First off, its extremely laggy and slow (I use 500mbit fiber). Secondly, the game crashes very often. Third, people in multiplayer is encouraged to race dirty and crash, cause there is absolutely no penatly for doing so. Turn10 could however learn and adapt from other games to makes this experience much better.
So
1st - Dedicated servers in each region. Laggers that are beyond 100 ping get autokicked, so game have a consistent and nice level.
2nd - Real penalty system. Cars automatically ghosts if people intends to crash in higher speeds (works wonders in GT). If you cut corners and race dirty, car engine shuts off for a few seconds depending how severe the cutting was. This will imo help Forza to have a better and cleaner multiplayer environment. If you break all these rules to often in a lobby game should autokick you.
If it doesn’t improve I will shelf Forza7 and never look back to this franchise, because its been like this far to long!
Hi, there are people with much faster connections - maybe some of that is your problem. 500 megabits is only about 70MB/s. Verizon in the US offers 200MB/s and Virgin in the UK something similar.
Hard to believe, since 500mbit/s is the second fastest internet you can get here in Sweden. And Sweden is in the top 10 countries with fastest internets, so that is not my problem.
Leagues in forza6 had regional matchmaking and i managed to find a game maybe twice since playing from launch, so locking it down to region is a no from me
If they adress some of these issues Forza 7 will be a really nice game. Last night I tried to play some multiplayer, got into a Forza GT endurance lobby and waited 20 min for the game to finish, then it came to Mugello and fine. Race started and it was really nice racing, but on lap 3 game crashes for me…
