Forza 6 not running

We got an Xbox one for the kids for Christmas, with three games. Forza is one of them. We installed all and played without problems numerous times. Sometime in January when the kids went to play, it said please install disc (even though disc was in). After taking disc in and out and restarting system we got it to work. However, after another week same problem. We tried everything… Uninstalling (and now it won’t reinstall at all - saying there is a problem with the disc). I know the disc is ok, as we had another Xbox friend try it on their system and it worked fine.

Spent 45 minutes on the phone with Microsoft/Xbox support today and checked everything and tried about a million solutions, to no avail.

So, my kids are without their favorite game still and now I need more HELP!!!

Sounds like the common problem that a lot of people had with disk drive
Ive had 2 consoles replaced because of that problem
Have mainly digital games now so no longer getting the problem as often

A trick i do is when inserting the disc hold it until the drive actually “grabs” it

It’s not a game problem it’s a console issue

That is good advice. I do the same.

Though on certain occasions, after ejecting the disc and taking it out, the drive makes a strange grinding noise once or twice as if its loading something.
