These formula cars annoy me in all kinds of lobbies, in my opinion they should only drive in their own leagues. The current P Class lobbies are the perfect example: The P Class could actually be a lot of fun if it weren’t for the F1 cars that come from the X Class and are tuned down. You can actually save yourself participation if you don’t use such a car/tuning yourself. These cars are 3 to 4 seconds faster than, for example, an MB Sauber C9. And because many players are not interested in exciting races, but rather have to win, you see four or five such agents in every race.
But these Formula cars annoy me in the other classes too.
Formula Mazda already has its own permanent lobby. Nevertheless, they come to A, S or R lobbies to get on your nerves. They whistle past you in the curves, but on the straights they are so slow that you pass them again. So far so good, but the next corner will definitely come where they will try to drive these terrible cars through every gap that doesn’t exist, causing many accidents. Please put a stop to this because it’s really annoying and destroys any racing feeling. Or have you ever seen that in reality F1 cars take part in events of other classes?

The only reason why the F1 cars can make it to P class is because of how club rules works.
But I don’t see the point in complaining, you just had an entire week for Group C cars.
The only vehicles that can compete in P class are Group C cars, and only two of them.
Porsche 962/956
Nissan R91CP
Like in FM7 open wheels cars should just have their permanent lobbies and be banned from others.

My favorite lobbies, in order, are: R Class, S Class and A Class. Maybe B grade, but anything below that is simply too slow and boring for me. I know that many people like these lobbies, I don’t at all. But I don’t really understand what that has to do with the topic.
It’s like this: These F1 cars are a class of their own. Especially on handling tracks like Maple Valley, you have no chance with the normal P class cars. You drive through the curves at 170, the Formula 1 cars, which only consist of wings, take this curve at 250 km/h. No skill necessary.
I don’t care if normal cars in the R/S class are made superior with supertunes and then rush past everyone on the straights at LeMans. But these are still normal cars that have disadvantages elsewhere - in terms of handling, for example. The F1 cars only have advantages in the lower classes.
So just use the F1 car, what’s the problem? If you want to be competitive, you have to use the competitive car for the class.
If it wasn’t the F1, it would be the Nissan R91CP, that’s the only thing in P class that can out-handle the F1.
I’d say it takes plenty of skill to get every turn just right, as half the lobby ends up in the wall regardless of what they drive.

How many time did you see a race when open wheels raced vs other cars? Crist people complain for 10 seconds of ghosting at T1 will ruind the realism and then we got open wheels vs other cars. Let’s try to have some belanced PVP and ask for T10 to rebelance car a little.

Forza is not real homologated racing, do not expect it to be.
They cannot balance the “car” without balancing the “AI” that drives it.
Why do you think the F1 cars can even get into P class?
Because T10 just slapped ballast onto every car not thinking about the balance.
The same lack of attention that leads to so many cars being hopelessly lost somewhere in P-class.
For example the Mazda 787B engine has a turbocharger swap when installed in another car but on the original it hasn’t - which would put it more towards 998.
With more care all of these retro racecars and newer LMP stuff would have sufficient upgrades (power/handling) to reach 998.
Without the Ferrari F1 P-class would at least be a 2 to 3 car class instead a 1 car class.
No, that’s not it. It’s how the PI rating is calculated.
Think about it. The AI calculates the PI based on how the car handles on “CLUB RULES”
The PI rating would be accurate… IF the F1 was 1,900lbs (500lb gas tank) since that thing drives like garbage with a full tank.
In the open lobbies there will always be one or a few OP cars. If you want more even racing do the spec series or the spotlight one.
There will always be a fastest car, and by definition, open class series are open to everything.
The issues of people in and around F1 cars being involved in crashes and incidents is mostly a player-derived one, as the vast majority of Forza players cannot handle cars as quick as these, especially in traffic.

Unfortunately that’s not the argument I hear in-game. It’s always people complaining that they can’t compete.
But then you see them driving some un modified LMP car or some hypercar that can’t reach 998.
People create their own problems then complain about it.

You also have the people that refuse to qualify while in the fastest cars, even though they lack the skill to make 12+ clean passes and just cause havoc in the first half of the race.

I just thought of a solution.
Make every other track at night Anne remove the excess lighting on tracks, bam. No more F1

Jokes on you, people can just turn on track ribbons.
With the current lighting system in place, this would make it harder for the drivers with headlights as well. And as SuperHornetA51 said, I’ve already had to turn on full ribbons a few times when the track has disappeared on me. I can run on an imaginary cloud as long as the ribbon is visible.
Yeah they really need to buff the headlight distance. I tried dirt 2 and was blown away by how much better the headlights were.
