Ban F1 Cars From P class

Title speaks for itself but if you like prototype cars you have noticed that they are all worthless because Forza has enabled 80s and 90s F1 cars to downgrade into P class and they are 5-10 seconds faster than everything else on every single track that isnt an all out top speed track like daytona or Le Mans. Ridiculous. Open wheel cars should be banned from public hoppers and stuck in their own classes where they belong. Try to justify letting an F1 car compete against prototype race cars… you cant.

Banning cars doesn’t fix a broken PI system.

There will always be a fastest car.

Agree… that’s exactly why never race on those series

Might as well just say ban tuning altogether, and lock all cars into their classes so you can’t tune one from say D to C.

We literally have prototype races where the F1 cars cannot compete.
Class races are for exactly that - any car that falls into that specific class.

The moment you start banning cars from certain classes is the moment you ruin the game.

This is solely the fault of T10. They intended on the Ferrari being put into P class. For some reason they decided to give the Ferrari 641 a restrictor plate. This car didn’t have it in either FM6 or FM7.

Turn 10 is sort of between a rock and a hard place with stuff like this. Too many people want too many things, often conflicting, and they can’t make everyone happy. Here we want more restrictions, but when Turn 10 puts more restrictions on stuff there’s people that complain they don’t want to be restricted. I like keeping cars close to stock, maybe just making slight upgrades to unlock tuning options or to make a car competitive in an event, but some players like taking a car with 213 PI and making it a 946 PI monster. Whichever route they take, some will complain that they should have went the other way.

Personally, I think cars shouldn’t be able to be downgraded below their stock PI (or at least their stock class). Keep restrictor plates in place (stock only) for some race cars where appropriate, and keep ballast there to allow people that little extra wiggle room when upgrading to avoid going in to a higher class, but no A-class GT1s or the like.

Sadly it’s true: imho open lobbies should be gone and only class lobbies should be promoted. Still you got the meta car but at last you don’t see the Ferrari F1 doing a total massacre on anything. Another solution could be the ban of downgrade car into multiplayer lobbies.

Where were you people during LMP1? LMP2? Or any other P Spec Class series?

An alternative is provided and people still don’t play it.

Only way they could make the class system work well would be to have like 20 different classes to split cars performance better.

I just stick with the weekly spec series where I have at least somewhat of a chance to do good.

100% agree its why i dont do P class anymore. The Can Am cars ruin S class the same way i just made a post about it then saw this lol.

Stop making excuses. The F1 car should be banned from open class hoppers. It was in the past its not hard. F1 cars cant share the track, they are the fastest cars on the planet.

I don’t think you even play the game.

People complain about the AMR Pro because it costs money and it’s too hard to drive.

Despite the 90s F1 cars being completely free and easy to drive, people still complain.

You cannot seriously not understand that people want to drive literally anything in p class without having to face an actual F1 car… not a spec series or weekly promo… classic P class. Very easy to understand.

Im currently sitting top 200 in the Logitech challenge so i do play the game.

There are plenty of P Class series (LMP1, LMP2, LMP3, Early LMP, LMDH, Group-C) that happen regularly. Any other car outside of those series will not win a single thing in P Class otherwise.

You have no argument here… you are trying to say the F1 car should be in P class lobbies. Im assuming you drive it in those lobbies for an easy win or you would have no other reason.

I already said people want open P class lobbies without F1 cars my man thats as simple as it gets. 9/10 people will agree.

How many more other cars will you ban because they’re unfair to race against?

None thats honestly the only one that i would say yes ban it.
