Just gotta post to say how much I love the new Mustang GT3.
I love the livery they chose. It’s so unique and distinct from all the versions out there I’m glad they chose this one.
The audio is unreal. Properly done. Fantastic.
The model detail is exceptional.
And of course, it is an absolute riot to drive.

The livery is the Champion Spirit design. It’s meant to pay homage to past Mustang racers through history. Each color and design represents a different car. I love the design. I was upset when I went to apply vynles and they wouldn’t show. Was hoping to utilize the design for something for myself. Either way the car is awesome. Been wanting this car in game since Ford announced it. Definitely a win in my book.
Yeah I’m digging it too man. I’ve been so jaded with Mustangs recently because there are so many of them in every car game known to man. I almost let this one slip by, but honestly it’s really well done. The sound, the driving feel, the attention to detail, even the livery. Whoever is responsible for this should be working on getting more content into the game, or if it’s a team, get them working on a single player career, they have the passion needed in the auto racing simulation world. 9/10 because everything can be improved… XD
I love how it drives more than how it sounds. (Something about the GT3s audio sounds off but I can’t pinpoint exactly what it is…)
Its not as deep and rumbly as in real life. It basically sounds like a 5.0 GT mustang with cams and a quick shifting transmission. When its really a bored out 5.4L racing version of the 5.0.
To me it sounded and felt like most of the other Mustangs, it didn’t feel special to me. But hey if ppl like it that much, that is nice. I just don’t understand all the fuzz.
Interesting. I’d argue the '18 and '24 GT sound better than the GT3, but that might just be me.
Is there a reason why we can’t apply vynls over the factory paint? Tried to make a design using the paint scheme but couldn’t apply vynls. Would not appear on car.
The audio of the Mustang GT3 is fantastic. Loved every single bit of it.
I’d argue the sound is a little too electronic compared to how th e actual car sounds. If they could nail down the sound in a future update, this may be one of the best sounding cars we have in game. I’m hopeful that, in addition to this car, we get the Z06.GT3R to compete alongside it, but I’m scared that they’ll just copy/paste the C8.R sound onto it, and we all know how loud and bad that sounds.
I leveled it to about 49 just doing Rival’s last week before GT3 came back in rotation, now that GT3 is back on I’ve only had the chance to get 3 races in, but I’ve had a blast in it so far, in addition to the new grip changes, GT3 feels a lot closer to how I expect these cars to drive now.
they do not have enough downforce though that is the only down part.
The Mustang GT3 as is sounds better in cockpit view than chase view. Personally I think the '24 Formula Drift Mustang sounds better overall than the GT3 right now.
As for the C8.R, wasn’t that one of the cars that got its sound updated a while ago?

As someone that only uses chase cam close, i was a bit confused over everyone saying it sounds particularly great.
When it comes to chase cam that aston martin gt3 added a few patches ago was miles better
As for the sound comments, i personally like how the car sounds in game better than real life.
the reason the others sound “better/different” is because they don’t have true side exhaust like the gt3 does. In real life the gt3 has a more “flatulent” kind of sound/tone to it because of the design and placement.
The side exhaust on my own car also sounded very unique because of how it was routed in comparison to other v8 mustangs
