I know I can’t be the only one that’s bored of all the tracks. I was highly disappointed in the track selection in forza 7. I could care less about Bernese alps, Test track, top gear, Dubai etc etc. the only tracks I find myself playing are Maple Valley, Silverstone, COTA occasionally, VIR and maybe one or two more. Bring back older tracks like Sunset Peninsula, Fujimi, tokyo docks etc etc. I get licensing issues, but I REALLY miss Tsukuba, but why not bring back original tracks you guys made up like Sunset peninsula and Fujimi? Instead you give us trash like Bernese, Prague and others. No matter how many car packs you give us, which if they continue on the same path as the most recent one are terrible, a limited track selection will always make a game boring.
We need less VIR, Top Gear, less rain races in general in the map rotation.
I was so pumped when I heard Maple Valley was coming back…but it’s so damn depressing in FM7.
I have a number of problems with FM7, but track selection isn’t one of them. If I’m not mistaken, it has the largest track list of any FM game. With great real-world tracks like Suzuka, Watkins Glen, Spa, Mugello, Laguna Seca, Sonoma, Road Atlanta, and Road America, I think it has the best track selection we’ve had yet.
But I guess they can’t please everyone.
That’s not the point.
The point is: in the track rotation in multiplayer you usually see some tracks coming up way more than others. As I wrote above, most of the time it’s all variations of VIR (many people really hate it or find it too difficult for a few laps race in a public lobby full of people who can’t drive or wreck on purpose), all variations of Top Gear (same), and too many races in the rain, which include VIR, Silverstone, Top Gear and Suzuka.
Laguna Seca, Road America, Mugello, Watkins, Indy, etc?..In 1 month and 15 days I guess I drove on those tracks only a couple of times in public lobbies.
I’m sure that if ALL tracks appeared evenly in the track rotation, OP wouldn’t be so disappointed.
so the title says “we need new tracks” but what you mean is bring back old tracks? Not new tracks at all then? Personally I think the track selection is quite varied, from technical tracks like Yas and COTA, right through to fun short tracks such as Brands Hatch Indy Circuit. There’s a lot more besides too. Of course there are tracks I don’t like, but there are plenty that I do like, and I’m happy that they introduced new tracks rather than keep pushing out the same ones over and over, and there’s a good balance for all abilities.
If after a few weeks your bored of all the tracks already, I would think adding one, two or even three tracks isnt going to satisfy you however please feel free to use the wishlist to request the tracks you would like to see.
