If you reboot your network hardware and PC, does this continue to happen?

Unfortunately yes, i rebooted my PC a few times, even disconnected my router and connected the PC directly to the modem.

I tried troubleshooters in Windows, checking my Windows services, Group Policy settings, signed in and out of xbox live and windows store (also resetted windows store), resetted firewall and such in Windows. checked all my network settings, even uninstalled and redownloaded the whole game. so far, nothing.

My game also has problems it crashes to desktop. As soon as it starts to sync data, should complete it, because the bar is full and it dissapears but the game freezes and then after around 3-5 sec crashes to desktop. Tried all kinds of things so far nothing works.

PC Spec:

Windows 10 Pro
MOB: MSI Z97 Gaming 9 AC
i7 4790K
GTX 970
16Gb DDR3 1866mhz
250gb SSD
2TB HDD

It seems to get either stuck on “XBox.TCUI.exe” (GamecallerUI) or “GameBarPresenceWriter.exe” (Gamebar DVR?).

checked services, all the XboxLive Services are enabled (it needs that “Xbox Live Game Save” Service)

Can you try fulling signing out of your Xbox Live profile on your computer, reboot, sign back in and see if you’re still unable to sync your data?

Yes i tried that, in that case i start the game… i get the green xbox live signin questions… and then i click “Let’s Play” … and again its stuck at 0% with syncing.

I’m running out of options, i guess i either have to reinstall Windows 10, or try a different microsoft account? i have no clue.

Thanks for all the information you’ve provided. I am going to pass this info along to have it looked into.

I did a Windows 10 update using “Windows Media Creation Tool” from microsoft website… now the game seems to work fine. i suspect it was some weird corrupt registry thing, or maybe some filesystem permissions. Anyway the problem is solved.

I have this same issue and I am completely updated. Tried signing out and rebooting and still no go. Still stuck at 0%.

Yeah RadDoctor, it has something to do with the Xbox apps in your Windows thats somehow corrupted, i havent figured a way out to fix it, thats why i reinstalled Windows 10 and it worked fine after reinstall.

I made this quick Photoshop compilation of all the Xbox Stuff on a clean Windows 10 Installation, maybe you can compare it, see if you are missing something compared to your Windows 10 Installation.
If this isn’t the problem, it’s probably Windows Registry related.

UPDATE : also took a look into the registry, there are so many entries it’s impossible to export a .reg file without messing things up, however i did find something interesting. Xbox apps also have dependencies on these packages below.

ended up doing the same as Trackah123, essentially when windows 10 dropped I took a hatchet job to the registry to lock down the telemetry nonsense and i suspect I nuked a dependency in the process. it works now or rather it gives me the option to skip the syncing bs all together. if you have your files(cough, steam library and such) stored on a separate drive you can do a windows (10) reset. this will restore the registry and apps to their default states.
