Hard to tell, but pic from FM7 it clearly has rain tires on the honda,
not sure if the tires on the honda are the same in FM6, they look like semi-slicks, but hard to see because they are spinning on the pic!
In the first picture there is a 1969 Lola #10 Simoniz Special T163, and the white car far back appears to be the 1966 Chaparral #66 Chaparral Cars 2E. So at least 3 more cars confirmed.
Edit - The yellow car must be the 1969 Nissan #21 Nissan Racing R382, but Iâm not sure.
Japanese game developer âGenkiâ added Toyota FJ Cruiser to its game.
Body kits are also available and user design paintjob is also possible.
All speculation such as âToyota disliked the visual change of the production carâ âToyota will not add models that have been production ended to the gameâ are all overturned.
It may not be what I should write to this thread, but I was able to have hope with this.
Also keep in mind that just because a car was in a prior Forza, doesnât mean it didnât have work done to it for the latest release. If youâve noticed, theyâve been slowly redoing the old cars. Not just bringing back ones from the 360 era, but adding full engine bays and trunks to FM5 cars and such. Now 7 introduces things like dynamic weather and physics driven parts (things affected by bumps and gforces), nevermind 4k support. This stuff all adds up to a lot of work thats done behind the scenes without any big public announcement.
Oh and maybe before we all go complaining about how few new cars have been announced, we should wait for them to announce the last 150 or so? Come on guys, they do this with every Forza release. They release the car lists weekly, starting with almost entirely the cars returning from past games, and then save the newer stuff for the end.
discuss the pros and the cons of the car list in fm7, we do not yet know the contents of Forza garage week 6 but I predict it will revolve around race cars.
On the one hand this car list could be a dream for someone who has played all Forzas through from Fm3, because it contains many cars from old Forza Motorsports which they surely would have been yearning for e.g. Audi Q7 and the BMW M6/M5. But for someone who has recently begun playing Forza games, the lack of new up to date cars (of which their were many in Fh3 and Fm6) may begin to put them off buying Fm7 all together, I have seen many people on the forums wondering when the 720s and 675lt will appear in the Forza garages but I fear they will not appear at allâŚ
I have tried to look fairly upon both sides of this topic but my final conclusion is that turn 10 studios will release many new to series cars in car packs to make the urge to buy them greater. Thank you for visiting this thread.
Itâs been a pretty humdrum list so far. I expect if we get a chunk of race cars revealed it will involve a number of duplicate models with different paint jobs. None of which really impacts the appeal of the DLC.
Thereâs still around 150 cars to be revealed. Thatâs more than some games have in total. This number suggests a further two categories so for me itâs far to early to discuss the merits of the FM7 car roster.
In any event, peopleâs views are usually swayed by the inclusion or exclusion of certain cars. However you look at it, 700+ cars at launch is impressive even if most have featured in previous releases. It should be possible for people to build up a garage theyâre happy with and for those that like to collect there is plenty to go at.
The Porsche 928 is on the list now so anything else is just gravy for me. Iâm not a huge âcarâ guy and I got into the Forza games initially because I like the gameplay and not many things de-stress me better than driving in Forza games. If certain other cars donât get added itâs not the end of the world for me. People post car wishlists and Iâve never heard of many of them.
Yeah, Iâm wondering what the remaining two categories will be as well. I would think that one would be all race cars, so what would the other be? My wishing heart would love it to be a list of entirely new-to-the-franchise cars, making up for how few of those weâve seen elsewhere.
Iâm really hoping one of the two remaining car reveals is a list of âgoofballâ or âoddâ cars. Stuff like the Aztek, Prius, DeLorean, etc. Just weird, well-known cars that arenât specifically for racing but are still significant part of auto manufacturing history. FM4 had a lot of cars like that and theyâve been notably absent from the newer games.
It would be really nice if this weekâs reveal was a big list of race cars and then the final week just have a small release of like 20-30 cars that are oddballs.
With the new M5 being launched alongside the new NFS do you think we will see it in FM7? Or do you expect it to be bound by exclusive licensing issues?
Obviously it hasnât been announced with the European car list which doesnât surprise me. If it was to be included I would of thought Turn 10 will keep it as DLC and cant imagine it being in the initial game.
I havenât played NFS since underground 2 so Iâm unfamiliar with the car line-up. Did NFS ever get the new Ford GT which was launched with FM6?
Without turning this into a wishlist, I hope it isnât a NFS exclusive. It will be BMWâs first true AWD M car and it would be great to see how it compares to the legendary Quattro system on a racing sim like Forza. On a side note the new E63 is going AWD isnât it?
