PI 535 and 4.8 handling which seems like a good base for a few mods B class or maybe a C class car.
Seems really good at stock as well as an all rounder. It manages to exceed 170mph on the Mulsanne, not sure the real thing could actually do that but hey a 170mph+ stock Ford Focus lmao
Well I’m pleased so many people respond positive about this pack. But it also shows how totally different each of us respond to these packs since for me - as a fan of mostly classic road cars - there isn’t much in it. I like modern cars too though and the P1 GTR and Focus RS wake some interest but I’m certainly not as excited about it as I was about some of the other packs that were included in the Ultimate Edition.
The trend sure shows though with all these modern cars, Turn 10 sure is preparing for FH3.
Tbh my first opinions - wow more fake cars and no race cars. They added 2 race cars, oh well. Probably will only buy one car out of the pack becasue the p1 gtr will probably be useless like the one:1, fxx k, and Caprio t1.
Before I get crucified for holding what seems to overwhelmingly be the minority opinion, let me explain myself - or, more specifically, justify my reasoning as to why I find certain cars in this pack to be completely useless::
*Bone Shaker: What does this compete with in the game? Plus, I’d be surprised if it’s any good to drive.
*BMW X6 M: Because big SUVs like this are blocked from multiplayer lobbies, the X6 M is pointless to players who spend most of their time on FM6 in online races.
*Ferrari 641: No Car Division assigned to it (assuming it’ll follow in the footsteps of the McLaren MP4/4), so the only place to race this car competitively is in the X-Class public multiplayer hoppers. Yeah, good luck with that…
*McLaren P1 GTR: Going on the Ferrari FXX K, this also won’t sit in a Car Division, and will likely be too slow to be competitive in P-Class.
*That Ford Mustang thing: Like the Bone Shaker, I’ll be amazed if it’s good to drive, and what else does it compete with in the game?[/list]
Assuming the two Hot Wheels cars aren’t just here for the novelty value, what we’re left with are three cars that are completely worthless to the multiplayer community (two of which are also of no value to players who, like myself, still extensively dabble in the career mode events). Since I’m a cynical little expletive, though, I’m going on the assumption that the Hot Wheels vehicles will also be ‘fun for five minutes, never to be touched again’ additions, thus leaving us with just two cars - the Focus RS and Camaro Super Sport - that are of any worthwhile use in the online and offline modes.
Yes, I’m fully aware that no one if forcing me to buy this DLC, and I’m familiar with the ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’ idiom. But surely I’m not alone in thinking the Hot Wheels Car Pack is, overall, a really poor premium add-on for Forza Motorsport 6, and quite possibly the worst car pack released for the game to date by a country mile?
I’m with you on this. I guess I just dont understand most of this community. I thought this was a motorsports/racing game. I have never understood the addition of cars like this hot rod or limos, or suvs or vans, or old trucks, etc, etc. Those should be left to Horizon, which is a driving game, this is a racing game.
And the response that they get with people is what I also dont understand and I guess the reason why T10 keeps including them.
I can see the Mustang for those that like to drift, the Camaro and Focus are also fine additions. The Ferrari and McLaren I dont have an issue with if T10 wold get their act together when it comes to classifying cars so that they can be used better.
Its an ok pack I guess, but it does nothing for me and its not very playable in a racing game imo.
I’m right behind you guys. 2 of the cars are jokes. Of all the countless track days I do, the SUVs reign supreme…in the parking lot getting us to and from. There are 3 cars I’m comfortable with and that is the F1, PT GTR and the Focus RS. I’m on the fence about the Camaro since we already have the Z28 and it’s not a redesign year. The rest just don’t belong in a track game that is trying to be the industry standard for e-sports racing.
