CARS

Added with this update, the following cars have been added to the Showroom for all Forza Motorsport players:

  • 2005 Mitsubishi #1 Sierra Enterprises Lancer Evolution Time Attack
  • 1995 Formula Drift #34 Toyota Supra MkIV
  • 1984 Toyota #25 Horsepower Techs Starlet Time Attack

Spotlight and Reward Cars

Note that Reward cars are only available to collect by the event deadline; they are not available from the Buy Cars Showroom. Spotlight cars continue to be available from the Showroom after the discount period.

  • The 2005 Honda NSX-R is this week’s Spotlight car, available in the Showroom at a 30% discount through May 14.
  • The 1998 Nissan R390 (GT1) is available at a 15% discount for VIPs through May 14, and the three 2023 Cadillac V-Series.R models are available at a discount through June 25.
  • The 2024 Nissan Z NISMO is available as a Reward either from the Challenge Hub, or from completing the Open Tour in Career, by June 25.
  • The 1981 Porsche #1 Porsche System Engineering 924 GTP Le Mans is available as a Reward either from the Challenge Hub or from completing the Porsche Tour in Career by May 21.
  • The 2022 Acura NSX Type S is available as a Reward either from the Challenge Hub or from completing the 20th Anniversary Tour in Career.

This week opens the 20th Anniversary Tour with the Spirit of Forza Motorsport series - Relive the moment that started it all. Race the 2005 Honda NSX-R featuring a celebratory Forza Motorsport livery and MUGEN body kit on Fujimi Kaido and other iconic Forza tracks. Complete all series events to unlock the Reward Showcase and collect the 2022 Acura NSX Type S or collect it from the Challenge Hub with multiplayer racing.

Why isnt the Mazda Furai available in the Modern Factory race car spec series despite being in that division? Would be nice to be able to use the car we just paid for…

NASCAR is dead. And I don’t understand the Forza AUS endurance series at all.

It took darn near a day to get the NSX Type-R to where I can get it around the track. Meanwhile I have a NSX sitting in my game’s garage that would blow the doors off the Type-R after I got it tuned for Fujimi. And I can’t use it… Sigh.

nascar isn’t dead although i like more racetracks every so often i do some nascar races and they are always 15-24 people in the last few weeks.

7 events over seven weeks for the 20th anniversary tour? Would it have been too much to open them all up Immediately so we can enjoy them at our leisure over that period?

Everyone does. This and FOMO as well. But will T10 ever listen and make changes? I strongly doubt it. Even though the FOMO issue is top in the voting. My bet is the time locked events would be right up near the top also. I don’t know if there vote ticket covering the time locks. Perhaps someone can start one.

That’s gonna be sluggish 7 weeks.
Unlike previous updates there aren’t new spotlight cars except the '10 Audi R8 for week 3.
So, the Z Nismo now, the R8 in W3 and then 4 weeks of nothing until the NSX Type S becomes available.

I like getting the new suit after each event. Kinda like a mini-reward as you progress. Gives me FM7 career mode vibes.

It would be nice to be able to use a different car other than the Acura NSX the second time around playing the event.

This is something which feels like an easy win in general for the career events. Once complete first time loosen the restrictions (so you can use any car the Ai are using), particularly for one car events where you race against other cars. It’s an easy way to add repeatability and a simple reward for completing it.

Has anyone else had their progress reset?
I was at 7/10 Multi-Class races for the Z Nismo and now I’m back at 0.
Restarted the game but still 0.
Thanks for nothing I guess.

Mine did they I went in and done another race and it counted towards what I was on originally.

It’s noticeably busier and more competitive in the NSX races at least. Bit rough and ready at times but overall I’m enjoying it.

If you’re talking about progress towards the current Challenge Hub objectives, yes.
I’ve had my progress on multiple CHUB objectives reset back to zero twice in the last couple days.
But the game later “remembered” & restored my prior progress, so it apparently was not a permanent wipe.
Kinda seems like a syncing issue.

Worked like you suggested.
It always reverted to 0 but I got the car after 10 races.

As expected not as good as the regular Z at the same PI but drives well enough for Multiplayer.

20th Anniversary has brought back some of the old players. I’ve gone from winning many races with +30 sec gap to second place to having to battle for podiums. It’s soo much better.
