Doesn’t work for any open series in multiplayer, I believe it’s Multi Class only. @T10ManteoMax

Thanks for the heads up, I’ve updated the table.

Featured multiplayer in S-800 production cars with a minimum of 750 HP means mostly cars with considerably more power than grip & brakes…

This means sayonara to safety ratings since so many players clearly struggle to control these beasts.

These car configurations are also tire shredders, which means a no-stop sport tire strategy is a dicey proposition for 20-minute races at some tracks (like Suzuka, where I was losing 5+ seconds per lap on my last 2 laps due to tire wear).
Might as well consider this to be a mandatory pit stop series.

You can also add Hakone and Mugello where sports tyres hit severe wear by the end of the race. Seemed ok at Yas Marina North though.

This was on my 3500lb F430.

I just raced at Hakone GP & Mugello Full in the 2015 Ferrari F12tdf on its widest stock (street) tires with max race aero, and its tires easily last ~20 minutes without pitting.

It’s got a pleasantly surprising amount of grip & stability considering it’s a production car on street tires with so much horsepower.

I got 2nd place at Mugello behind a widebody 2016 Ford GT-350R that did not make any pit stops either, so that will probably be the next car I try for this hopper.

Yeah, Hakone definitely requires a streets build.
At Mugello and Suzuka I lost ~ 5 seconds over the last two laps with a sports Camaro FE.
Depends on the car if you can build such a gap over a streets build or if streets will be the better choice there as well.
Sports were fine at: Catalunya (wet), Sebring, Yas full & Le Mans.

Strongest builds so far imho:

  • '17 Camaro widebody sports for regular tracks
  • Mustang 350R widebody streets for high wear tracks
  • Saleen S7 & '05 Ford GT for Le Mans

Unfortunately, even in such an event it’s impossible to avoid some of the meta stuff.
But the gap isn’t as big as it is in Open.

Idk if u guys know but u can use McLaren F1 gt in this event…

And the Jaguar XJ220 S but on most tracks they are not better than the '17 Camaro widebody with the Viper V10.
Latter does high 2:02/low 2:03s at Suzuka.

I got 2nd at Mugello, lost to a Ford GT which ran a medium/medium(?) pit strategy.

I did 1.55 F430 on Sports they did 1.53 on the mediums.

The F430 was a bit painful on the long corners waiting it to turn! (Most likely a tuning issue)

Maybe, I don’t rly care about meta cars, so far I tried Ferrari Roma no aero, Maserati mc12 no aero, and ZR1 C7 stock aero. Won 5/6 races with this cursed matchmaking, lost once to 350r cuz got send off track by noobs.

I also don’t run these. It’s the impression from testing.
Cars so far: Camaro FE, no aero F50, stock aero C7 Z06, no aero RWD Reventon, no aero F430.

Gave all the 350R/'17 Camaros a good run for their money.

Hmm maybe Gordon t50? Idk if it’s possible to put it in s class with that much power tho.

Probably not.
Next one I’m going to try will be a stock tires csc V10 CLK GTR.

For Hakone I can recommend the Aston Martin GT12 on streets.
1:16 flat without a track-optimised setup. Certainly will do 1:15s.

I’ve built an F50 on race tyres. Was going to try a medium/medium one stopper after getting beat by that strategy last night.

Ran medium/medium at Maple Valley, pitted end of lap 6/13. Finished race with severe tyre wear just for the last couple of corners though.

Then ran soft/soft at Brands, pitted end of lap 6/13. Finish race with moderate tyre wear.

Enjoyed the tour. Nice to see proto-h division having a tour.

Having a lot of success with tyre/pit strategy.

Soft/soft again at Brands.

Ran soft/medium at Sebring. Pitted end of lap 4/10.
