It’s going to be hard for me to say goodbye to this Open Class Tour. Wish that it can be kept alongside the upcoming one for four more weeks.

I finally got round to doing the Open Class races. Didn’t get the memo for B-Class…

I fail to see the point of making these races temporary. Considering how much the game is lacking in content. Would be best to let people just play at their own pace.
Imagine if someone buys the game today or 6 months from now, that means that person will NEVER be able to get these cars?
Not very well thought out imo.

I do struggle to follow the logic here. It’s plausible that there is a limit to the amount of events that T10 can have live at any one time but, if that is the case, it’s surely higher than the bare bones career we have currently. T10 could also make FOMO cars available to buy after the event was finished if the only reason for removal was a problem hosting content.

As such, the only conclusion is that it’s a mechanism intended to force people to play whether or not they wish to do so that month. It can’t justifiably be said that there can be any player benefit in taking content away.

However, people who are interested in a car but just very busy that month would, no doubt, play the event the following month - increasing time spent in the game. It would also give more content for new players, again likely to mean that they will spend more time playing the game. The current approach also leads to player disenchantment and, in the long run, will surely damage the Forza series further, as people decide to move away rather than engage in FOMO.

This seems to be an issue where T10 should either explain why they are unable to make events permanent or, if the answer is just to generate FOMO, cease such damaging practices and act like a company who has its customers’ best interests at heart.
